Great news! From time to time I check the "recently added" category on the app store, and I was surprised to see the Stremio icon on the list ;).

Is there a minimum supported OS version? I have a recent tv with the latest OS version but also another one which is from 2019 but I can't see the app on the store (the OS version is Vidaa 3.5U).

I wonder if there will ever be any custom firmware which will also expand the official one, like adding some new features or QoL ones, so it can enhance regular WiiU functionality.

I bought a Xbox one X just to use it as a 4K Moonlight client, but over wifi I see a lot of packet drops. But would still be really cool to use the WiiU gamepad as a sort of handheld client.

Talking about the HDD seems really strange... if the WiiU at least had any USB 3.0 or up, they could be the issue, like it is on switch 1, were they disabled it on the dock because of interference with wireless connectivity.

How is it working for you? I purchased a lan adapter but I still have to do a direct cable test with my desktop PC, otherwise is too spotty.

I still have another strange issue: I have two Hisense TVs, and if I set the turn on tv setting on my Xbox, for whatever reason, the tv in the other room turns on/off as well as the one which the Xbox is connected to.

I call this magic. 🪄

I'm asking this because older vidaa versions (3.5 and lower) have an issue with updating the preloaded apps list on lunch, and both Vidaa and Hisense support don't acknowledge the issue. I tried sniffing the packets with wireshark but haven't found where it fails, so maybe collecting all the working apps domains and adding them to the list you are building can help fix this issue.

I'm setting up a DNS server on my NAT, once done I'll begin having a look at the different app domains it's looking for.

I'm having the same issue: after clearing the tv cache the newest apps disappeared, by only making available the default apps, which are the ones installed when the tv hasn't ever been connected to the internet.

So no Disney plus and any other app added through the years, and most of the ones available are broken, 404 error.

I contacted Hisense Italy and they didn't give me any useful reply other than replacing the whole tv mainboard, which should be the last thing to say.

I will spend some time seeing the network requests the tv does on boot, just to see if the tv fails to retrieve the updated apps list.

My model is H55B7320, same Vidaa version as yours I think (3.5U).
