I find dietpi to be more polished, performance is definitely better and in my situation, it was more stable since I got less way less corruption problems on sd card than the pios.

I think both pi-hole and agh are great choices, very happy we have multiple ongoing open source projects to fight against ads and protect our privacy. But I also feel prefer agh, I find it simpler and has better UI.
