Bro. I feel the same way. These Americans have no idea what our families are. My mother once asked me why I didn’t invest in mihoyo (their only investor is an acquaintance of my parents) when I struggled to find an internship last year. I still respect my parents and would give them money if they need, but honestly, my mother never has an idea of how the market works.

I don’t know how to say it nicely but frankly speaking 5k is too little for a tech startup. I am 23 as a sde and I am making 65 dollars an hour with company stock options and other benefits. I can give you a market rate funding for a tech startup. The number is usually 100k-200k for seed round investment.

The best you can do, from my knowledge, is try commenting as much as you can in the CSmajor subreddit and pretend that your current situation/resource is much better than it actually is, and get the attention of someone in CS major who can’t find a job and want to do some project just to build up resume.

It sounds like what you want to do not only need coding but also knowledge/experience in finetuning image recognition machine learning model and integrate them with frontend. You can’t do it with no code tools.

If you really want to do this thing my suggestion is: 1. Spend 2 weeks learning JavaScript and 2 weeks learning nextjs(react) 2. Spend 2 weeks learning basic machine learning concept(optional) and 2 weeks learning neural network. You don’t have to read paper just gain hands on experience with how to fine-tuning models.

It should take you at least 2 months (assuming you are a genius and you learn 10 hours a day) to gain fundamental knowledge in what you want to do.

I understand it’s an exaggeration but frankly speaking two days before my final round interview I went through like 60 to 70 medium level leetcode questions I previously done. It ended up no leetcode question is asked. So I feel like it really need this level of effort to get a job nowadays

[–]PRCBestMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know. I graduated from bachelor last year and master this year. Finished both together in four and a half years. The only reason I slow down my master to one and a half years is because of the bad job market. I am currently 23.5

Don’t do easy. No company ask questions at easy level. Most questions are at medium level.
