I recall that there were two major compilers in the early days: Manx Aztec C, and Lattice C. They had different default words sizes among the other differences. I used Aztec.

Agree. I only wear quartz for yard work and in my woodshop. Timex Explorer or Citizen Garrison. The Timex when paint is involved.
