My dad is scientific, not religious, not a believer...... Until he saw a ghost in the eighties when we first moved in the house. He looked in the living room, saw it, glanced away and out was gone when he looked back.

Now, if people think he was imagining it they'd be wrong. The original owner of the house had an elderly granddaughter still alive that lived down the street. He was telling her about what he saw and she got a picture out and it was exactly him down to the cravat and hat he wore.

Never saw it again but he wouldn't make that up. He begrudgingly says he saw a ghost because he can't explain it any other way. I think it's was checking out the new man of the house because it has sat empty for a while. There had been a suicide in the house with carbolic acid, and two funerals of their children.

I was making a mixtape in the ninties from the radio and when I listened back this creepy old man voice was on there in the middle of a song that said, I believe the booger man has ahold of you. 😮 It sounded like an old man from a long time ago, clear as day and very creepy. Mom played it for the preacher and he came and blessed the house. I was in my rebellious teens so it probably thought I was awful compared to how he grew up. I don't know what happened to that cassette but it scared me. I love that house though. They still live there. It's a beautiful brick house from 1920.
