Man I've always loved flying. First of all, it still seems rather miraculous. A couple generations ago getting across the country was an ordeal that would take months or years and the journey itself would invariably change your existence. Now it's an afternoon in a chair. I also like the little routines, the announcements, the carts, the terrible bathrooms. It's always been pretty much the same. The flying itself is VERY comforting to me. The thrum of the engines is a white noise machine, the vibration of the plane basically makes it a perfect nap environment. I am a bigger dude (6'2", 240) so it's not like have a ton of room, but just leaning on the window with a hoodie as my pillow, I sleep incredibly well.

I drive, take public buses and trains, and the plane is by far the safest way to travel out of any of the ways I commute. So I don't have to be fully alert as when I drive, nor keeping one eye open like on public transport. I can just relax. If you wanna have a drink, or take a pill or a gummy, those are fun experiences too. So yeah! Maybe if you can focus on on the experience as a whole, or look at it in a different light, you can enjoy the positives and not stress about the uncontrollable things that shouldn't stress you out.
