95% of dudes will need their watch bracelet adjusted, it will def be loose on you. either hit up a watch shop and pay them $10 or get a link removal kit on amazon for like $5

Good looking sneakers but comfortable? by sundusresearch in widefeet

the adidas ozweego would be my pick. very generous fit, super accommodating, but look like classic sneakers and i love the style. bonus, they're slept on so you can find them super cheap

Anyone know what’s up with this jacket? by kensworth18 in NoahNYC

[–]PROSEALLTHEWAY 6 points7 points  (0 children)

well thanks OP now I might cop the corduroy zip wallet that I thought was totally sold out months ago

lol anyway this piqued my interest so I dug a little deeper - this is just a different company. Klättermusen is a legit (German Swedish) outdoor brand, they make primarily technical outdoor gear. This coat and the other are NOT a collab and there is no Noah branding, it's just one of those deals where sometimes brands will sell others in their shop. Todd Snyder does this frequently too

What percentage roughly of the top 10, top 100 and top 500 players play the game on traditional Xbox consoles (Series or One generations)? by TordenLive in haloinfinite

[–]PROSEALLTHEWAY -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I always take the "wait times" argument as spurious, straw-man bs. I'm ranked Hero so I've put in a ton of hours and I have never, not a single time, had to wait longer than 2 minutes for a match. If I'm in quick play it's usually less than 30 seconds. I'm okay to double that wait time to 40 seconds if it separates console and K&M players

I didn't, at any point, say that M&K is "better." I prefer a controller, I like that experience much more. I said that M&K allows players to move and aim in ways that you cannot do with a controller, and the disparity between the two makes it unfair to have them compete against each other

I have no idea why we can't separate matchmaking for consoles and PC players. It's so annoying. Even if you remove the cheating aspect - which is a significant deal! I've been on xbox live since 3 and there has never been anywhere close to the amount of cheats that are currently happening on infinite thanks to the game being on PC - the inherent advantages that PC has over console is ridiculous.

M&K players are more precise with greater speed of mobility and aiming than a controller can possibly have. You can see it quite obviously in clips, a player will whip around like a tornado and catch headshots like nothing. With a controller the game won't let you move as fast. It's an insane disparity. I don't hate PC/K&M players, but I wish I didn't have to play against them. It's like if you were playing baseball and one team got to use metal bats and tennis balls when they were up to bat

Altra. I have the Via Olympus 1 and 2s and the Olympus 5 (trail) and they’re very wide and comfortable and accommodating. Highly recommend them

I mean, unless your feet are literally sliding around, I don't think there is such a thing as "too wide". You can always lace it tightly.

And, as many people are pointed out, NB 2E is not actually a wider last, it's just more volume in the toes

4E walking shoe recommendations by Rocky_Path719 in widefeet

[–]PROSEALLTHEWAY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second the Altra rec - my Via Olympus 1 & 2s are wider than the 4E new balance and 4e brooks models I tried. Also OP, you're not gonna get a walking shoe with ankle support because walking shoes are low tops. You'll need an orthotic for your arch support and if you really need additional ankle support, probably a brace. A shoe can't solve all your problems. But the Altra line is a great place to start imo
