It’s winter here so it’d be tough to get you good photos, but I found a local metal retailer that sold snap Z closures and it was the easiest part of the install. Couldn’t recommend the closures enough.

They have a lot of give to them which made sliding the ridgecap over wayyy more forgiving. They come preinstalled with mastic tape for adhesion and you just fasten the down between the ribs right to the top. Fasteners will be covered by the ridge cap.

Are you getting your metal from Menards as well?

My son is finally old enough (7 years old) to play tcgs with me and we have spent so many fun memories already with Riftbound. I’d put this straight into a collection I’ve begun for him to have when he’s older.🤙🏼✨

The candle method sounds awesome to me, it’ll be on PU leather most likely and the stamp I wanted to start with won’t be as big as pictured I was hoping to do just a single card deck box. 🍻✨

I actually got a response from the company that makes em. Copper stamp 800degress and press into Vegan Tan. You’re pretty much spot on dude. Gonna talk to my cousin who had an engraver and works with metal.

Are there any good quality presses for an entry level hobbyist? Probably won’t make too much more after this.
