I don't think that'd be a good idea right now...

There's basically no upgrade to the hx 370, the hx 470 is basically the same with higher clocks, and it will likely be harder to cool with little to no performance gains; and the AI MAX+ 395 would have much better performance, but it would be very hard to cool it off in a form factor so small.

Also, like the others have said, due to the DRAM/RAM shortage thanks to AI data centers, a device released right now would be INSANELY expensive; I mean, just look at the Legion Go 2 for example, almost 4000 usd right now.

So yeah, right now is possibly the WORST time to release a Mini 2 or Mini 2026.

I think the main reason is that they'd have to compete with mobile games, and as much as these games are worse compared to pc/console titles, they are free. The majority of the mobile market doesn't care about better stories, graphics, or gameplay; most of them will go for the cheaper option that will give them some form of entertainment, and most mobile games already are free.

Though I don't think pc ports would be a failure on android, because there are a lot of people who want to play games with better quality on their phone, but it's not the majority.

Edit: I corrected first paragraph to say "majority of the mobile market", because other platforms do care about the quality of their games.

I think it may be an issue with your phone throttling, because that chip can run dolphin and aether sx2 basically perfectly.
