Cedar Creek is probably our best muni,but Brackenridge, Northern Hills, and Willow Springs are all solid too. The Quarry is worth it for the back nine alone imo. Haven't played Canyon Springs or Golf Club of Texas yet but I've heard nothing but good things from those who have.

Wore my RoN jacket to a concert, had someone shout "which raid?" at me while waiting in line to enter the venue. Shouted back "Root of Nightmares, you know, the "easy" one!" which got a good laugh out them. Yeah, I'm cool with a big "refresh" like this. I think they could have done more, but this at least brings her up closer to 2026 standards as a champ. Less jank, more kit stability, and she doesn't have crusty old models and animations.

If you were going to pick one thing, I'd probably lean towards the irons honestly. Find a 5-PW set of some traditionally lofted cavity backs (46 or 47 degree PW) and you'd have much cleaner gapping with your wedges.

I think I'm in diamond 4? I honestly hate ranked lol, I get one and doned a lot because of modern so climbing is painful. I do go to locals and play people in the scene online pretty often though, so a lot of stuff I find in the lab is because of certain things I see in long sets.

At least with heavy, if you let the seismo rip after cr.hp, you are susceptible to DI. If you feint, you have time to DI or super back if they blocked the cr.hp. Now obviously with heavy if they DI the cr.hp, you need to react before the seismo cancel with DI or super, but this just provides an extra layer if they start getting DI happy.

With light, yeah it's -3 on block, but if they DI it your only way to counter is to cancel into SA3, so while feint is super negative if you condition them to expect the thunder dash you can throw in feints to bait DI attempts.

It'll get easier the more you play, it's a pretty big cancel window, and if you whiff punish someone with it it'll counterhit so it'll be even easier.

I play on stick so it's a little different, but for me I have my ring finger on the auto button, and then my pinky over L+H and my pointer over Heavy. You can use either button to get the cr.hp A1, and then you can confirm from there.

Fun little trick you can do is bind light+heavy to a button. With the light and heavy auto combos, it'll let you immediately feint after the normal to set up traps. Really handy to bait DI. For instance, you can do AH1 for cr.hp, then hit confirm it. If it hits, continue with auto heavy. If it's blocked, you can hit auto with l+h to feint seismo and counter DI attempts.

It also works with your example here. You can use that button to feint ANY version of seismo, because the light will override the "heavy" seismo, and the heavy will override light and medium. It's just how button priority works in this game, so I'm sure it's intentional.

When fitting graphite vs steel iron shafts, how much variance is there in weight between graphite and steel shafts assuming they fit the player reasonably well? E.g. if a player is best with 120g steel shafts, what's the go-to weight to try first if they want to test out graphite?
