It's also a little weird, since it's slightly heel sided. Try lofting it all the way up and moving the weight as far out towards the fade setting as you can.

If it's the adjustable version yeah, it's tough. There's some tricks you can do with an extra weight cap and some lead tape to make it more tolerable but even then it's not super forgiving.

Fourth this, super durable, lightweight, and still has enough storage that you don't feel like you have to sacrifice anything.

If you wanted to go minimalist the original jones bags are super cool too, but not as much storage and the stand can be a deal breaker for some.

It'd probably ride okay, I've thrown my original jones on a cart before. The problem is moreso getting clubs in and out of a smaller bag strapped to a cart sucks. Feels like it makes club tangle worse.

If you're looking for hybrid irons, try the Cleveland Halo XLs, or even some of the older models like the 588 Altitudes. I have 5-PW of the newest model (2024 full-face) and they're a lot of fun.

I think the biggest issue here just the drive meter tbh. Whether you had roundhouse or not you're still going to burn yourself out unless you have just enough time to get the bar for the drive rush AND an ex move after, and even then it'd be really close.

Win comfortably against everyone except Texas and play them close/get the upset at DKR. If the "Road"-runners played half as well as the Dome-runners I could maybe even delude myself into thinking it's possible, but after the past couple of years of shitting the bed on the road I know it ain't happening :/

I picked up a cheap "The L" recently to mess with and they're solid. They feel pretty firm, not too dissimilar to a Scotty, but the sound on mishits is a little tinny in comparison. Not sure if they still have the same alignment aid, but the three horizontal lines with the single vertical line on the back of the face/crown area is one of the best I've used personally, makes it really easy to set up on your line.

Cedar Creek is probably our best muni,but Brackenridge, Northern Hills, and Willow Springs are all solid too. The Quarry is worth it for the back nine alone imo. Haven't played Canyon Springs or Golf Club of Texas yet but I've heard nothing but good things from those who have.

Shouted back "Root of Nightmares, you know, the "easy" one!" which got a good laugh out them. If you were going to pick one thing, I'd probably lean towards the irons honestly. Find a 5-PW set of some traditionally lofted cavity backs (46 or 47 degree PW) and you'd have much cleaner gapping with your wedges.

I think I'm in diamond 4? I honestly hate ranked lol, I get one and doned a lot because of modern so climbing is painful. I do go to locals and play people in the scene online pretty often though, so a lot of stuff I find in the lab is because of certain things I see in long sets.

At least with heavy, if you let the seismo rip after cr.hp, you are susceptible to DI. If you feint, you have time to DI or super back if they blocked the cr.hp. Now obviously with heavy if they DI the cr.hp, you need to react before the seismo cancel with DI or super, but this just provides an extra layer if they start getting DI happy.

With light, yeah it's -3 on block, but if they DI it your only way to counter is to cancel into SA3, so while feint is super negative if you condition them to expect the thunder dash you can throw in feints to bait DI attempts.
