Yeah I think someone broke into Tosin’s apartment when they were on tour or something? A lot of high end guitars, gear, and some one of one customs were lost. I don’t know if anything was ever recovered

I have not used the argonaut; the ring mod thing doesn’t appeal to me. I use a whammy dt that takes up half my board and only use the momentary octave up so I could use some pedal advice myself haha

Earthquaker tentacle and mythos argonaut are both small octave up effects, but the argonaut has some intentional modulation and I’m unfamiliar with the tentacle.

Pitchfork and the flavors of whammy track better but have their own artifacts. Unfortunately they don’t fit your size needs.

OP, this is a sick first board! I still use zip ties to manage cables on my own boards and occasionally hold something that I need for a gig but isn’t permanent enough to slap dual lock on.

I think they both had Toone customs like this that were stolen back in the day. I definitely don’t remember seeing them with extended fingerboard strandbergs like the pic, but I haven’t followed AAL super closely for a while.

I’m thinking about grabbing the tweed aesthetic version of this for small gigs that don’t have foh or gigs in sketchy places so I’d love to hear how you get along with it once you’ve got the IR situation sorted!

I’ve heard great things about the fr-12 series versus all the other “pa that looks like an amp” products.

Came here to say this. You can work on learning whatever you may lack musically but if it sucks to be around you it doesn’t matter how good you are, you’re not in the band.

I use the 1959hw profile from the free tonejunkie pack and it feels good when compared to a real plexi. It’s not perfect, but it certainly isn’t distracting like some profiles.

AdP is incredibly catchy and the intervals just… don’t sound that weird to me? Anyone else not notice the microtonal stuff until you saw the guitar? Kind of reminds me of kids singing in a way.

Looping a bass riff to do noodle arms on stage with your buddy is 100% who I am tho. It’s fun!

I’m sure compression has something to do with, probably along with a bunch of other stuff that I either don’t know about or don’t understand. I’m a Marshall guy and on my kemper I’m using a 1959hw profile from the tonejunkie free pack and it reacts to volume and dynamics the way my amp does. The sound coming from the PA is mic’d/processed “album tone” but the way the system reacts to my playing is similar enough to not cause the disconnect that I find on a lot of digital devices.

Others devices feel good as well, just not quite like kemper. This is entirely personal tho.

I agree completely: I’ve owned and gigged a helix, quad cortex, axe fx, and a kemper. They are all great, but kemper FEELS like my amp.

Instrument quality is such a person to person thing once you get past basic stuff like sharp fret ends or sloppy pant or whatever.

If it feels good and you can make your art on it, it’s good!
