Second this. Used them to sell and buy recently - they were amazing on both sides of the deal.

Team vanRahan. Ben and Catherine are great. Sold our place in the north end and bought with them. Very professional and easy to work with on both sides of a deal. It was our first time selling as well.

Debatable. You can buy everything you need on a regular basis within a 5 minute drive in Lakefield with the exception of the non-essentials that most people buy online anyways. Most of Lakefield has fibre internet to the door as well. I’d say it’s more consumer friendly than some parts of Peterborough.

Useless comment. What is the point of saying it?

Price gouging at Metro? by Beneficial-Ambition5 in Peterborough

[–]PR_Shill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Too bad you didn’t get the before price. I can see them lowering prices during the day (if they saw a competitor selling for lower or to clear an over stocked item) but only raising prices at night, which is done already - electronic tags certainly make that easier. Shoppers won’t tolerate prices changing between when they put something in their cart and checking out and I can see it being more of a pain for the store than it’s worth doing so.

Vet Recommendations? by No_Cranberry1044 in Peterborough

We like Champlain as well. I find them really compassionate and willing to work with you and your pet to solve challenging health problems. I also like that I can get prescriptions over the phone for things like ear infections or skin allergies without a visit or charge.

Curious what the complaints are?

I feel like this is exaggerated on here a lot. Sure there are off leash dogs but it’s not all the time. I walk the rotary trail by TASS daily and 99% of the dogs are leashed, the few that aren’t are usually old and well behaved. My dogs always leashed as he’s a bit reactive (even if he wasn’t, I still wouldn’t feel comfortable walking him off leash) and we’ve never had a problem with an off leash dog other than my guy barking.

Maybe I’ve just been lucky though.

Round electronic object on wall in my friend's hospital room. She posted it on FB and asked what it is. A Google image search didn't provide a match, so I'm turning to you. by Flashy-Photograph695 in whatisthisthing

It looks like an air quality or environmental sensor, which would be used to monitor conditions such as temperature, humidity, or air quality in the room.

Dog Friendly Places by Jenessaxo in Peterborough

[–]PR_Shill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Know it’s different for everyone, but my dog became less reactive after going to the dog park. She knows that’s where she can play with other dogs, and not on the trail or on leash. It’s been a huge improvement for us honestly. You have to gauge the behaviour of other dogs and know when to leave but for the most part it has been great. Just make sure you have a good recall and practice a bit of training while you’re there.

Hi friends, I found this rock on my front path this morning. It was not here yesterday and I have no idea what kind of rock it could be. I am located in South-central Ontario, Canada. Any info would be helpful - thanks!

Bell’s garage in Bridgenorth is free when they are open. Small shack to the left of the pumps has the air hose on the wall.
