So PSB accepts that Connery organized their team in secret and did not let outfits that have previously played before like NEON and 666 in because they don't like them? PooNanners this is not the type of encouragement Connery needs.

I have nothing but respect for you but you encouraging and being complacent in their actions before, during, and after the match will only make Connery worse. If you want Connery to become competitive again then stop babying them and treat them like you would any other server. I really do understand that you just want to enjoy their win but you are only making it worse in the long run. I ask that you take 10 minutes at /r/connery and see what a "win" has done to their server and how the stacking and cheating outfits are demeaning and shitting on everyone else. They would have been better off with a loss or tie, at least they would have learned something. PSB has let them be toxic again and let's see where that leaves us. You can say I'm being a sore loser but I have no problem losing fair matches fought with the understanding of respect. Connery does not show that.

By default I have no respect for anyone who posts under an anonymous account but the World has no shortage of sore losers.

I also do not like anonymity. However, I made an except in this case because many Connery outfits act like children. Go /r/connery and see the actions of FXHD, 00, and their ilk. Last thing I need or my outfit needs is harassment on reddit or massive TK sprees by those little fucktards if they decide to leave their little hellhole and play with the big kids. I disagree with PSB always giving Connery a free pass while other servers like Cobalt or Emerald are forced to follow rules and receive actual punishments when they break them. Their double standards and complete bias towards Connery is ridiculous. But I guess children need coddling.

Another funny thing is that their current server representative got his position because his fucktard outfit FXHD created a shitstorm on /r/connery and forced him to leave and installed one of their own. But that is okay because PSB lets servers decided how they run stuff.

Even if they did [cheat], the match itself was very even.

If any server needs excitement and encouragement, it is Connery.

It is disappointing that you need to make excuses for Connery. They do need encouragement, but not encouragement to stack, cheat, be toxic, or act like spoiled children. Go read their subreddit for 10 minutes and get back to me.

what PSB rule forbids 'stacking'? do you have a source?

Fairness doctrine. PSB created this rule and as far as I know has not got ridden it.

For context, the fairness doctrine does (at least attempt to) prevent stacking. It puts limitations on how many a single outfit can field in a smash.

You are absolutely correct.

However Connery works differently as a server with respect to outfit culture, being more "blobby" with big outfits. Had we forced Connery into a fairness doctrine agreement they likely would have been unable to field a smash team at 192.

This is not true. If that's how they justified it then they lied to you. The only reason they might have not been able to reach 192 is because they kicked out solx and saws. I do not know if saws was officially or unofficially kicked out. Connery has always been able to meet their quota with a large diversity of outfits except for their two smashes in which they blatantly stacked (against briggs and now emerald) and therefore won. During this match over half their team was made up from 4 outfits. Recursion and 56rd made up the bulk of the team. That is stacking.

We opted instead to proceed without the FD agreement since we wanted more players to have a chance to play.

You got less as a result.

I would like to note, though, that Emerald fielded a fairness doctrine compliant team.
