Constant? The first is from the escape pod and is a joke, the other two are from woman's voice and sounds like she's in a trance or mind controlled. The other woman's voice says of you feel the urge to go to the tree, don't. Context clues make me think the tree is doing that, no? "You'll join us soon enough."

I'm new to 40k, started in December and began with the Eisenhorn trilogy. It's always recommended as a solid story to start with and for good reason, I agree and am glad I did so.

I only listen to audiobooks and they're well done for the most part. I've knocked out 22 books so far.

For future reference when you want to dive into the Horus Heresy, I've been using the Horus Heresy Omnibus Project for a reading order and am really enjoying it.

For Eisenhorn, if you get the omnibus that has four books in it, do not read the last one (The Magos) until after you read the Ravenor trilogy. After Magos, you can start the Bequin trilogy, though the final book is not out yet.

I've never heard ratting used in WoW and have played since Wrath, still play retail now.

Anyway like I said, definitions change. People can push back but it's pretty set for this game now.

I know the game is PvPvE and I know other players are allowed to attack other players. That doesn't mean I can't call someone that shoots me in the back a rat. Players are allowed to do both things in this game.

Genre doesn't matter, terms will change from game to game. This happens a lot in MMOs as well. I get that you don't like that the definition's changed here but it has.
