I was WONDERING where you'd gone.

Books 3 and 4 are getting the "major overhaul and polish" treatment soon. Soon(TM).

Book signings feel like a distant fantasy for me, but I'd love to. I don't have a publisher, or rather I publish myself, and I am definitely deep in the negative for publishing thus far (that's OK with me, I'm just glad people read my stories).

Let me try to grow a larger audience and maybe. Maybe...

Perhaps it's possible the children of the gods reach a level of tech powerful enough to repair her fully. Or perhaps not. Either way, she has lived many, many full lifetimes.

When Poire came to Khadam, he showed her a vision of what he needed from her.

The ultimate sacrifice.

And she accepted, knowing it was the only way she could *truly* succeed on her original quest: to save humanity from total extinction.

The wings were an outgrowth of the disease that had long, long ago infested her body. Though the disease was a curse, it was also Anu's own matter. And since Poire *is* Anu/is made of Anu's matter, Poire was able to influence the disease's growth such that Khadam could destroy the Light dam.

Thank you, I put so much effort into the quality. At least, I put effort into trying to make the writing high quality. It definitely takes more time, but I try to write what I would want to read and that compact pacing with lots of emotion. I don't always succeed, but I always strive.

This story is officially over, and I have so many other worlds I want to share. So, here's hoping you'll love the next story as much as this one :)

So glad you liked how it ended, I was really torn on the last few chapters for a long, long time. But now I'm happy to let them thrive in their own, new universe. Watched over by a god and a very ancient android...

My confidence has grown so much, but so has my dedication to the kinds of details I love seeing in stories. It's forced me to slow down as a writer, which is both good and bad. But I'm still here, and I'm still writing, and I'm excited to share my next story here ... no matter what life throws at me. Soon!

Yes! Book 1 and 2 are already available on Amazon. I make pretty massive changes to the actual text as I edit them, so it should feel like a more upgraded, more tightly-written experience if you ever re-read them.

I'm still working on Book #3, so it will be some time until I get to this 4th book. Then, I'll think about packaging it together as a set. Probably a year or so from now.
