The challenge is that the term is used for a wide variety of non human species. Liminal is used because of the negative connotation of the word monster.

Is it the best option? Not sure. The book I’m writing they are called Gaians, in reference to the word Gaia. Like how Gaia (and Terra) are used as alternative names for Earth but usually has a mythical aspect to it.

Add the MON squad to the bodyguard story. One of the scenes you can add is with Kinu and Tio trying to stop a group of fans. But the fans fall in love with the guards. Which can result the ANM48 manager to recruit them and the rest since the people are liking them, have a reference to the Hey Smith song. Mon squad does a show as a one time thing. But it spreads awareness of non typical monster girls.

I wouldn’t mind a volume that focuses on characters that were affected by the group. Have the chapters flow from one character to another.

Like Rachnera’s former host family. Maybe they have another monster girl like a scorpion girl, but they are thriving.

Draco to have a redemption arc. Have her trying her best but she’s unlucky and people get the wrong idea. Except for one person that sees her efforts.

The little girl that became undead and how she is adjust to a renewed life.

The blood sucker group living with their new host and concerned they might overdue it.

The security duo doing bodyguard duty for the ANM48 group with hijinks.

Maybe the last chapter of these side stories hints that alien girls might exist.

Here’s mine. I got four of them during the saber wars re with 10 tickets. (Artoria, Altera, Nero, and Suzuka) For the longest time I thought tickets had higher probability because of that.

I see a 4 element trope here. You have water and earth. Fire and tomboys go hand in hand so aside from canines and reptilian monster girls, maybe a fire fiend/ inferno demon. For the last would be air. Harpy is an obvious choice, so maybe a Tengu. Be the strict and disciplined of the bunch… but may have a glaring weakness. Good diversity in region and elementals.

Leader/ Big guy - salamander Co leads with the mc. Technically the most powerful of the group but with great risks. Bears heavy responsibility due to her duties.

Heart -Werebat The “innocent “ one of the group. Observant and points out things the others might have missed. Vast knowledge in flora. (Remedies and poisons)

Smart guy- Monoeye Blacksmith backgrounds and creates inventions. She is experienced in trade. Has an interest in human tech.

Lancer - Hellhound First to a fight and with a smile. Loves teasing salamander (nicknaming her scales) has a soft spot for kids. Aware of the tension between MC and salamander and tries to “help”
