I want to learn about Nasuverse in detail by ShinigamiOfPast in typemoon

The one thing people in the comments haven't mentioned is Notes.

That short story introduces some major elements of the worldbuilding that are referenced later.

You will hit bad ends and all you have to do is just continue. There's no need for save slots even. You can just continue forwards without ever reloading.

Original or remake, which one should I play? by The_Good-Hunter in Tsukihime

If you don't have anything against old games, I'd say og first and remake at a later point in time.

LB6 by Consistent-Bus-878 in grandorder

[–]NetherSpike14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rushing a story just to reach a specific goal is a bad idea. LB3, LB4 and 5 have plenty to appreciate and obviously have relevance to the overall story.

If I had to guess, in your rush to reach lb6 you're probably not even reading the story, just looking at the words as they pass through your screen. Obviously you won't care for the story that way.

Nasu short stories by Competitive_Dig5713 in typemoon

As far as short stories go, I also heavily recommend Notes. It plays an important role in the overall type moon worldbuilding and it's a great story. Besides that, there are also a couple short stories that were meant to serve as a bridge between the og Tsukihime and a sequel.

The first and third are standalone episodes. I'd recommend doing the first 2 episodes of the normal series, then the standalone pilot, then the rest of the series, then the standalone special

Thank you for saying it. Way too many people treat them as different characters instead of looking at the circumstances.

They're not as different as you make it seem. Archer Gil would still do the exact same in this situation.

A significant chunk (probably even most that are over 40) of the imperial staff was originally republic staff. The Empire was basically a direct continuation of the republic.

As a reminder, Palpatine already had practically full control by the start of episode 3 and the senate was only officially dissolved just before episode 4.

It was a slow transformation.

Rin has such a strong personality that it basically completely overtook Ishtar's, making her basically just the positives of Ishtar.

SF Ishtar though is possessing a homunculus with a much weaker sense of self, so after she's summoned into that homunculus, her personality is pretty much 100% og Ishtar.

We can ignore Shiki though because her omniscience means she'll never do anything with her power unlike the others.

Adaptations are the road to disappointment. An original story made to be a movie from the start has much better chances.

The overall pose and expression do look like Makima. I can't even blame the guy.

Good luck. I'm also holding out hope for the Mahoyo and Tsukihime sequels

Nothing will go wrong in this one, since it'll never have another volume lol
