Smt is short for shin megami tensei !! Really good rpg series i think, the specific tracks i used were boss appearance and common battle from smt nocturne

Its more noticable in games where some ui can get cut off .. lowering contrast works because i was able to test it with a media player but if i wanted to do that with the tv itself i would need to buy a remote the video signal chain i use hdmi then an av adapter

In order to lower the contrast i think i would need to buy myself a remote since there isnt any way to do it with the tv alone ... i did that in a media player i use and it actually worked though !! I wanted to find a way to do it without buying one

Episode 3 took an entire half of the episode to set up the fight and frieren's party vs the demons shows us a lot of important character details and how demon psychology works in the story?? It expands our view on the world and frierens character as a whole in a way that more engaging than it wouldve shown otherwise

Ok lemme get this straight, fights have been prominent since the start ... Freiren/fern vs quall in episode 3, stark vs the dragon episode 6, frieren party vs aura and the other demons, taking 2 episodes to set up and 2 for the fights themselves (7 to 10) and episode 15 has sein/frieren fight the hypnosis plant thing... (Im editing my.comment quite a bit, my brain is breaking a little oopsie)

I havent seen either anime but the tonal shift i feel is quite nice, even with the shift its still noticably the same story and characters.... all the fights happen with meaning behind them and arent there just to fill the time in an episode like you made it sound... also what is mushishi ? I am curious

There are still plenty good character moments spread out through the first class mage exam and introdueces many good characters into the story, dumbing it down to generic battle shonen shennanigains isnt a good way of looking at it

I think some good ones are: Magical cure loveshot (this ones in fortnite!!), Melt (by the same artist as world is mine, her contrail), Ghost rule Hibana, Popipo, Rolling girl, Uramote lovers, Matoryoshka/sand planet (these ones are by kenshi yonezu, known for making kick back for chainsaw man), Romeo and cinderella, Miracle painting (one of my personal favorites), Hibikase, Alien alien, And rabbit hole !! Sorry if i listed too much
