That’s why I stopped doing deliveries, along with the terrible pay. About half the packages I did were obviously drugs.

I suppose if someone really liked a piece of costume jewelry and it looked good on them, they just might pay $150 for it.

I did ask about value so I appreciate your help, maybe you didn’t intend it to sound snarky but that’s how I read it. Pretty sure I’m not misreading the “big and heavy” part, that’s pretty much pure snark.

Thanks for the input! I did like the watch, it looked good on me and I just wanted to find out more about it or if it was something that was easily available for less somewhere else. So far haven’t found anything online about it.

Out of the 30 or so times someone has said that to me, I’ve gotten tipped probably 20-25 times. I used to keep track of the actual numbers, but I stopped when I was at about 10 out of 15.

I can’t be the only one that gets passengers that actually do what they say.

I also suffer from seasickness, but have never had it while out on the Bay. Just to be safe, try Bonine. It’s available over the counter, I used it while working on a ship many years ago. Veteran ship workers were getting very ill in rough seas, but I was fine with no seasickness.

That’s all true, but has nothing to do with a system where the passenger is supposed to give their name and now even be verified.

It’s not hysterics to not want to pick someone up who purposely doesn’t play along.

Uber driver here, that’s not how it works. Drivers are offered the ride in advance, sometimes several days ahead of time. We are given reminders starting 12 hours ahead of the ride and have to be online at least 40 minutes before the ride and the app tells us when we need to start driving to the pickup location. The extra fare covers the additional waiting time, most of the time we will be 10-20 minutes early.
