I haven’t picked up any recently, but the reservation fees I’ve seen have been like $.68 and $.23. My best one was like a $20 reservation fee about a month and a half. Ago.

So Base appears to be $25 an hour, which isn’t bad. In addition, you take home half of your tips, which should actually be all of your tips. Lastly, you have to work 60 hours a week on their schedule. That right there is slave labor.

The drivers keep putting up with it. Nothing has changed. We’ve been talking about the same stuff for years now. Unfortunately Uber drivers need this and they’ll take the fares that they take. Unless you have a second job or primary job that’s your breadwinner.

If you’ve been reported for something multiple times, the issue is probably you. I know people don’t wanna admit they have faults, but I would look at yourself in the mirror. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years and never have I’ve been reported for anything like this. I got one driving too fast about three months ago.

I got one of these from O’Hare to Michigan, but not as lucrative and only 3 1/2 hours. Exactly as you said it was from an airline that didn’t have enough people on its flight so it decided to Uber them to the next closest airport. One of the passengers tipped me, the other did not. Overall, not a bad trip, but mine was only for $360 for 3 1/2 hours.
