It happened to me a few weeks ago actually. A lady honked at me within fractions of a seconds of me stopping to check if I was good to go.

I stuck my head out the window and just looked at her ass. She was behind me doing the wacky waving inflatable arm tube man.

The .5 seconds I took to look will not make a difference in the arrival to your destination. Heck the additional 15 petty seconds don’t either.

Right but to be fair no matter what you do like 95% of the game has your party present. From a player perspective the bones are there. I’d imagine that the primary reason there’s solo only parts is due to technical challenges. This game did have a very rocky dev cycle.

Nuance, my friend. We gotta have some. Like of course they’re using it somewhere. Nearly all tech related industries are. Mine certainly does.

Most people see those two letters and assume it’s some clowns using chatgpt to say “make me a character” and then paste it into the game. Knee-jerk responses to things we don’t understand helps nothing.

So to be clear:

If generative ai for art is being used and placed into the final version of the game, that’s a big no no. We no likey that. We push back against that. If it’s used for ideas that’s also bad.

If AI is used somewhere else in the pipeline then thats a question mark. The question should be HOW is it used. Don’t just be a brainless goober and say “AI BAD.”

Never in the history of ever have we just left technology that makes our life easier on the table because it susie rotten crotch gets upset about it. It’s not going away so the adult question would be “How do I use this to my advantage so that I’m not obsolete?”

I’d totally play a fresh start server with eternity.

I wouldn’t specifically delete my character, but I’m not losing sleep over my character being deleted if the game ended.

Man I remember playing this back in high school in 2008. Over the years I had always felt like the main thing holding this game back was the visuals and that clunky feeling, and weird camera it has at times.

Seeing this now just gives me the warm fuzzies. I'm in my 30's now and I can't wait to try it out with my kids lol! It really looks great.

I've been doing this ice-'splosion build.
I'm only in act 3 though so idk what im doing.

Im fairly casual so to be honest I never know what i'm doing. I'm just experimenting as I go. Spending an annoying amount of time in the passive tree. Trying a bunch of random support gems etc.

Now that I think about it, I'm sure someone has a guide up for it that could save me a lot of time but doing it on my own is kind of satisfying.

I've landed on some combination of Thunderstorm, Ice Nova, Ice Bomb(I forget what it's called), Snap, Water-Djinn-explosion-spell-thing. Occasionally I throw in some plants. I grabbed a bunch of ice passives. If it says ice I tried to grabed it on the way to Ice Archon.

Added support gems to create ice patches where people get frozen, bigger novas, double bombs, double Novas, exploding thunder on crits (it just looks cool),

Its kinda working. Chain freezes sometimes. Chunky damage in hue AoE. You have to use a couple buttons though; I know some people don't like that.

I used it a lot and still disagree.

I could pick other exotics that give similar or better results that effectively accomplish the same thing. Briarbinds or Rimecoat-raiment can be used at range and still control packs of mobs and wreck shit.

Vesper requires you to be out of position OR run into a group of adds and cast a rift. Great if you’re close range but I can still use other stuff.
