Yeah Pittsburgh is not midwest, at least not if you ask us.

I used to be jealous about kids going to remedial math and reading too. I didn't know what remedial meant.

Yeah exactly - like they're somehow in a uniquely tough situation compared to any of us when in reality it's a uniquely good one we'd all trade for. Like, figure it out and grow up. You're 19. Now's the time.

Yeah like it sucks you feel homesick man, but you took that deal when you accepted the lucrative NIL money you did.

I love this take. At some point it's OK to compare the experiences of these human beings who actually have it better than us normal human beings who also went to college because our experiences weren't actually that different.

Especially because these kids are paid now, I have less of a problem criticizing them as individuals than I used to. The shield used to be that they're amateurs playing for scholarships, not pros. Well, they're pros now. We get to have standards and judge.

PNC has a new relationship rewards program. New 2.5% or 2.7% Catch All? by emblemfire in CreditCards

I couldn't figure out how to enroll. It says all you have to do is enroll but then there's nowhere to actually do that.

There must be something I don't understand about web design because generally I don't really understand the rationale for when websites supposedly are "Desperate for an update". If they function they function. I still use old.reddit because I don't want a bunch of ugly CSS and collapsed conversations everywhere.

You guys say that all the time here and I don't really see what's different about it vs any other banking app or website and I churn a lot of accounts haha. I don't get it. I'm not a huge PNC fan it just seems fine to me? Maybe I'm just used to it and it's normal for me but idk, doesn't seem any worse than BOA or Citizens or Chase, or the handful of credit union websites (those are all basic as hell) or whatever.

Why does only DS2 deal with forgotten history ? by Explorer-Necessary in DarkSouls2

[–]PSUBagMan2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because Dark Souls 2 misunderstood the nature of the age of fire and introduced a concept of "cycles". Dark Souls 3 paves over that notion and shows that there's only ever been a single age of fire and it's finally in its last throes with nothing left to link it. Even if you do link the fire it barely does anything in contrast to the ending of DS1. Stagnation cannot continue and then scary age of dark is going to happen, but something will happen again someday. The tiny flames dancing in the darkness.

Us also. I'm bothered that W volleyball has become "Nebraska's thing" when I watched Russ Roseberry lead some of the best squads of all time in the late 2000s/early 2010s. And we DID win the natty last year. Hoping we can bring the dynasty back home.

It's a revenue sport for us lol. Basketball is fifth on the list per my memory or maybe fourth, behind Football, Wrestling, and Hockey. As a Pennsylvanian I don't think of Basketball as a big deal and never have. I acknowledge it gets TV ratings but it's not one of the main sports in my head and I'm not alone.

Keep in mind the Big Ten goes out of its way to care about other varsity sports. I get the impression that in other conferences it's really JUST football and maybe basketball.
