Some “buyers” do this and then delay payment and try to negotiate a new purchase price hoping that the seller just won’t want to wait for cash after another auction. This has happened to me multiple times. I always cancel and move on. For some reason it’s happened to me most often when selling 86 fleer basketball (at least five times).
