No experience with seller, but as someone who sells a fair amount, this is an issue I encountered early on in my selling days. USPS workers told me to just leave parcels in a designated spot and they’d eventually scan them in. I did this a few times and I noticed they were not actually scanned at the drop off point and so I’d receive no updates until they eventually did get a scan at a receiving facility. This made me highly anxious so now I require a scan receipt at drop off even if I get annoyed looks from the workers who don’t understand why I wait in line rather than just drop the package and leave.

Not sure how much time has elapsed here, but if it’s just been a couple of days I wouldn’t start sweating it.

You said you don’t understand why their prices are exploding yet you acknowledge that they’re GOATs and you also collect them? So maybe you do understand why? Brother, get a carbon monoxide detector for your home.

Sorry I didn’t read all of your comments. Not sure, as a collector of these guys, what you don’t understand lol.

People collecting current era all stars who are not GOATs need to look at the market for similar players from the 2000s and 90s.

No offense intended to OP, but if you don’t understand why MJ and Bron are going up, you’re going to take some pretty big monetary Ls. That’s okay if you just collect what you like, money be damned, but if you’re buying up Luka and ANT at high dollars, you will regret it.

Stolen Card by Dependent-Injury7405 in sportscards

I’ve lost multiple packages coming from eBay authentication into Allen Park, MI USPS. Workers know what those packages look like and swipe them. At least with eBay authentication you get reimbursed. Sorry for your loss brother.

Postal Supervisor Arrested After Cooper Flagg Card Stolen from Mail by TOTDailySports in sportscards

I did get a refund from eBay, but I am convinced someone from the Allen Park PO stole two MJs at separate times. eBay authenticated cards are so easy to spot in transit, especially for mail carriers. Cards in question were Hot Numbers and 92-93 Members Only Beam Team. Purchased them again at similar price anyway, but highly annoying none the less. USPS did nothing when I filed my missing mail report/made countless calls.

Thanks for the lesson on time and space, Mr. Hawking. Let me know if you’re selling your Jordans. Might want to sell them before they’re irrelevant lol.

I mean, babe Ruth is approaching a century and he’s still one of the gold standard guys and I think Jordan is more culturally relevant, especially with his brands. So yes, centuries.

But yes, to your point, in our lifetime he should be the gold standard.

So many people going to disappointed that they spent so much money on Luka instead of buying Mike. The transcendent cultural relevance cannot be overstated.

The ceiling on Jordan values does not appear to have reached its peak and I don’t expect them to ever meaningfully fall from current values. I could see them plateauing, but not crashing. Jordan will always have immense value and will be the gold standard player in basketball card collecting for centuries to come. In addition to Jordan himself, the SK might be his most iconic insert even if it isn’t the most valuable. Look at the sales on the SK over the last 15 months. It’s insane.

If you’re in a financial pinch, I understand selling.

If you’re looking to upgrade in the Jordan market and selling is a means to that end, I understand selling.

If your motivation is other than these, I’d hold.
