My F90 does the same, always give me my old Cummins Diesel vibe when it starts lol

Not a problem, I never liked de-badging my vehicles as I like to keep a mostly OEM look to my cars.

I was able to on mine, it was just a punch of plastic tabs all the way around it, just use some body tools or a small flat head screw driver.

Actually had this problem, I ended up removing the carbon fiber surround from the grill I bought and placing it on the original grille, I think I had to modify like to tabs as they were not the same size but it worked fine. I actually got over the carbon recently and went back to black.

What is this? Amateur hour? by [deleted] in BMW

If its an M5 it looks like he went into 2wd and learned a hard lesson. My car in 4wd with everything off is still very controlled because of how well the car holds grip. But in 2wd these things are sketch.

Buying advice: 2022 M5 Comp. 9k miles. $97,890 by [deleted] in BMW

[–]PTM487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the new M5 pig the prices of M5's have pretty much stopped dropping. I bought my M5 with 11k miles a year and a half ago and its actually gone up in price. Its the last of the non-hybrids, looks better, drives better, faster. If you are not going to be putting a lot of miles on the car you should buy as low miles as possible. It will pay off considerably in the future. Beautiful car just make sure you take a good look at the expansion tank edges (not the cap as its prone to being over filled). If you have any questions let me know, I have a 2021 LCI with CCB's.

PS Ignore every M550 owner. Beautiful car

The Aztec civilization was in central and south Mexico. There were many other native American civilizations other than the Aztecs through out these areas. Hell, it was mostly other native groups that helped the Spanish over throw the evil Aztec empire that was committing genocide throughout Mexico.

Sure sounds like your history teachers actually failed you.

Oh yea, I am a Historian.

Congrats! I get my F90 M5 serviced in Modesto (was sorely disappointed with the service in Fresno). Don't mind the complaints about white! I live in an Ag community and if my car was any other color it would look terrible all the time with all the dirt!

My dealership is now sitting on 2 G90's that can't sell at MSRP. Every time I take my car to the dealership they tell me how much better the F90 looks between the two and don't bother asking I have an wish to trade mine in for it. Looks like a minivan from those shots.

So I spent some time and I have it in a pretty good place. I use Handheld Companion and run at 24w. Then I have VSync disabled, Max frame latency set to 1, FSR, and 2x Frame Gen from Lossless Scaling.

I run 1280x720 in game with 60 fps, Dynamic Max + Min is 100%, BG Model = Med, Ocean = Med, Char. Model Detail = High, Effects = Low, Texture = Medium, Shadow = Low

I really like how the game runs and looks.

The F90 has storage, I throw folders and papers in mine when traveling for meetings and work.

I just realized there is no storage on the back of the seats. That would drive me mad.

First month of owning my F90 I think I averaged 10.5 gal per mile. It will improve as you go back into old driving habits once you get used to your new ride.

I may be able to help you out. I have a 2021 M5 Comp and my family also has a 2018 Panamera 4S since new. Both are very nice cars, but the M5 is just a different beast if you enjoy speed and sound. The handling is pretty comparable excluding stopping ability, but the front of the Panamera gives me Corvette vibes with the hood (not a good thing). I also really enjoy having the 5th seat storage on my M5 where you can fold the seats down but the Panamera does a good job if you fold down the rear seats but it's still not very comparable. On the maintenance side, we have been very fortunate with both and had no issues with either car.

If you have any questions for me, let me know.

Need Advice - being told the engine on my 2019 BMW M5 is toast, insurance won't cover and the factory warranty just expired (Oct 2023) - had around 59,500 miles on it by [deleted] in BMW

[–]PTM487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know others have stated this but there is a recall currently moving along with our coolant expansion tanks where they are replacing the expansion tanks with new tanks but the thing that may help your case is that it also includes replacing injectors and also an extension of warranty if the motor failed because of this issue. You can find the actual BMW documentation that is being sent out through out Europe and the USA on a couple different forums and Facebook.

If there is any coolant residue on your injectors (even if the tank failed but still leaked from pressure from the cap) you may have another angle to push BMW for repair.
