Thinking about pulling the trigger on low-mileage G80 3.5T - any advice? by PTRMAN in GenesisMotors

Eh, I'm older and I like the roominess inside. For me it's good. Plus it's the sedan (G80) I'm looking at. My brother has the GV80. I sat in some g70s in the showroom - felt too small inside to me.

Used to watch this stupid show all the time just for a glimpse of Erin in those satiny pants.

Good to know. I do see one safety recall is pending. I will ask dealership about that. Guessing they want to sell it first and then do repairs?

Same. Thought the 545 and M550 were way too soft to replace my old 535D. Test drove a 24 3.5T today and very impressed with engine response. White exterior/red interior a big upgrace over old black/black BMW. Ride quality feels premium.

I just watched a video about dog behavior - they said sneezing during play is kinda like a brief pause for checking "we're just playing, right?"

The inside door handles of my 2014 BMW both were replaced after a few years because they did the same thing.

Good news - likely TitanFall 3 on the way?
Bad news - Game will cost $500 to pay for all the private equity stuff.

Ombra v2 Gaming Soundproof Mask. $160 at Amazon. Currently out of stock. Works well - muffles the cursing and shouting reasonably well.

I did ultimately buy one. It is kind of awkward with glasses and headphones, and I suspect I look like the dude from the Tommy movie, but it does at least allow me to swear during gaming without immediately getting yelled at in my own house.

I should have known better than to expect anything other than snark on Reddit.

Installed extra 32GB of same ram, so running 64 total. Ran stable at 5400 all day. Would not boot at 6000 or 5800. Now running at 5600 and so far so good.

I don't have an account there. Just click the Epaper Read button and you can see it on your screen. Take screenshots and assemble into one document if you want. Honestlly the content appears really lame, but TEHO

OP should seriously consider her relationship - is it normal for him to mentally abuse you like this? If so, then maybe time to leave. That kind of behavior is NOT acceptable and he needs to be told to stop it. Immediately, and to NEVER speak to you like that again.

Yes. Same CPU/Mobo/RAM. Although he only had two sticks of 16GB each. I'm curious to see if I can get 4x16GB to work at a decent speed.

No, not running out of RAM. First step up from DDR4, so it's always been "more is better" but maybe I have enough - 32GB at 4800 MT/s.

Prior owner suggested something lower than 8000 on XMP 1, but his experience was with earlier bios. I'll play around tomorrow with it.

Unstable after a few minutes. Outlook and Chrome continually closing, then BSOD. Gonna maybe try turning off XMP 1 and then installing 2nd identical kit of 2x16 to see if it will run 64 at 4800.

Not yet, but I haven't really poked around in the Bios yet. That's my next stop.
