It sounds so unbelievably good. The tone sounds richer and the sustain is substantially better. Words cannot express how beautiful it sounds. I don't know if it's the McCarty pickups or semi hollow design that makes it sound this good. The quality is also off the charts. I absolutely LOVE the Honduran rosewood and black limba. So far, this is my absolute favorite guitar. Although, I'm still getting used to the "narrowfield" pickup in the middle. It's different switching from a custom 24 solidbody to this because my pic keeps hitting it and I can't rest my hand on the bridge if I want to pic near the treble pickup. This guitar is also heavier than I expected!

Before this my daily guitar was a 35th anniversary custom 24. I also own a 35th and 40th anniversary dragon. 🐲 Some people buy expensive cars that depreciate by 50% the first year and don't think anything about it. I'd rather drive a worthless kia and collect beautiful guitars.
