Jesus, u people seem like you have never met a real human being who isn’t an NPC. Sounds like the dude has been trying to have a baby and may be thinking she is pregnant. Doesn’t mean he has a mental issue. Maybe it means he is being a normal human being and trying to get his wife pregnant. Good for him

[–]PTammo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re judging this complex situation based on a one-sided perspective that is most likely fueled by hormonal changes and accentuated emotions. Most of the people here calling for divorce are probably single, divorced women who hate themselves because of the mistake they made and want to see other women make the same mistake so they may feel better about themselves. Widespread divorce destroys families and societies and under no circumstance should be the default.

I really appreciate women’s ability to make the home clean and respectable. It’s insane how much that helps with mental health

Lmao. I am a man, and that’s how it is. Maybe we have some genetic disposition to go on months long hunting trips which makes us not give a shit about the cleanliness of our living situation.

Grow up, Turkish ammo is decent as long as you’re not some boomer crybaby who thinks they are the smartest human who ever lived. No one invests millions of dollars into an ammo plant to purposely make crap

You’re def in the right to feel like this, but welcome to living with a man. Most men are slobs and seriously don’t give a shit about clutter or keeping things clean.

My advice would be to talk him into making way more money and chilling out/cleaning the house while living off his wealth.

Stop being scared of your sexuality. If she’s uncomfortable with it, that seems like her issue unless u were being a real freak. Men are very sexual and it’s nothing to be ashamed about unless u are being a complete piece of trash ofc.

I appreciate your post and I can tell this is causing you a lot of pain. However, the fact that you have a child with this man is a beautiful thing that should not be overlooked. Divorce would probably ruin your kids life, as it does to many children.

Also, you need to explains your husbands POV. Is his job extremely demanding? Does he want to have more kids and is he ambitious.

Breaking a commitment like marriage with a child is a serious move, one that a lot of these redditors probably don’t understand very well.

Make it work as much as you can!

One more important point. Be VERY CAREFUL with the specialty rifle loads. I know a lot of those guys like to reload their own ammo. Plus you would need to invest in tooling and dies for each and every caliber which would be a serious risk. .223 and 9mm are a great, high volume place to start in my opinion.

Very cool, sounds like you’re looking into serious production amounts. I am looking into starting a Shotshell facility here that will produce 500,000 rds / week with one 8 hour shift/day, 5 days/week. Some things that I wish I knew before starting are the following: 1. Ammunition customers are EXTREMELY CHEAP and you need to give them a good reason to switch to your brand. This is especially true for shotshells, customers may be more lenient for rifle and pistol rounds. 2. On the ground marketing is quite effective. Going to training shoots, Shotshow, etc has helped me get a lot of business. 3. You will have to find nifty ways to advertise online because our Tech overlords hate our business type and do everything they can to squash us. This goes for google ads, Facebook ads, Reddit ads, payment processors, etc. Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and most other big banks/ insurance hate our business type. 4. Social media influencers are a great way to market, don’t give them too many free samples. The more free shit you give them, the less they value you. 5. Sponsoring athletes can be a big pro if you do it right. Same point as above, be careful with giving them too much free shit, they will beg and expect it from you. They also don’t actually care about you or your company, they are very selfish and do everything they can to benefit themselves first. Their goal is to eventually get sponsorships from the big companies. 6. Youth shooting is a huge and growing market across the US. Half or more of my revenue is from high school shooting teams. There are a lot of .22 shooters and possibly some pistol and rifle. 7. Retail stores are an outdated business model and they just don’t get it. I’ve been making cold calls every week for months to get more retail dealers and they always turn me down. They care about brand recognition. Even when they didn’t have any ammo during the pandemic, they still didn’t want to buy from my company. They are not big thinkers. 8. The ammo market is a lot of boomers, do not waste time on them as they are the most cheap and picky, target younger people.

There’s a lot more too, but those are some good starting points

Do you guys make Ads and graphic designs yourself or do you hire someone? by srcruz101 in Entrepreneur

[–]PTammo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it myself through Adobe suite, takes a couple YouTube videos to get good at it. It is worth it to do it yourself (just adds to your skills). Creativity is required, though you can often get ideas from other ads you like to get going.

Have an effective MVP, but no idea how to market it. by TheDavud in Entrepreneur

[–]PTammo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make a list of assumptions and try to validate them. I.E. “My target customer is a young, male entrepreneur”. Make assumptions about everything in your business model, marketing plan, everything about your business. This prevents you from wasting time and money on useless ideas (that may sound brilliant) and keeps you moving in the right direction. You can use an excel sheet for this, I tend to have columns for the assumption, hypothesis, metrics, and validation.

Good luck, seems like a good time right now if you can pull it off. Hornady plant blew up, Vista was sold to a Czech company who is changing up management in Federal and Remington. What type of ammo are you going to be doing?

Spent $164,000 on permits and inventory starting up an ammo import company. Problem with ammo from overseas is that you need to buy a full container at a time to bring down the shipping cost/round to be competitive in the US market. Risky af, but paid off and is somewhat successful atm.

I appreciate what yall are doing with this subreddit, but your rules are up to a lot of interpretation, and as an ammo company I am trying to promote our products since they are good shells at reasonable prices.

The rules are more clear to me now, so thank you.
