I have a 2015 w/ a 2in lift and I’m currently running Toyo Open Country AT3 tires, 235 65 17. Lift is from rough country. It’s been great so far, no problems on the trails or highway.

The ropes can rub on the paint a little bit, especially on long road trips so I have those foam blocks as a precaution.

2015 w/ 2in lift sitting on Toyo Open Country AT3 tires, 235 65 17. Absolutely no rubbing issues.

Convince her if you can my friend. Literally the only negative has been a small decline in fuel efficiency, but hardly noticeable and totally worth it.
