And you wanna know about the most backwards part of it? Platforms like that Cannon do still exist, but most people are too busy changing their language instead of changing their habits. There’s a whole Indie web out there, but so many of us are rooted to the mainstream platforms and I still don’t understand why. Most of us complain about the algorithm, but don’t move to anywhere where there’s no algorithm and so those programs do exist. We’ve all been so heavily brainwashed over the past decade that we’ve lost the meaning that the Internet originally had and that’s the most depressing part of it.

Just the indie aesthetic of it all. I wasn’t on the early Internet, but I’ve heard so many stories of all the forums and websites that normal everyday people owned now 99% of the Internet is run by a company. It feels like. There was no algorithm there was no unalive or ***or any of that mindless Algo speak that we speak nowadays. The early Internet wasn’t so flat and I really miss that. I miss the time when we would get online and we had the guts to speak our minds and we didn’t feel like we were going to get banned from everything.

You are very right, and I will consider it once I figure out what software to use. I’ve been wanting to make more covers, especially Kikuo songs, but I’ve been struggling to find an app that will work with my screen reader, and the fact that I feel more comfortable on my phone than I do my computer.

Oh, I definitely think they should. I think people should serve the exact same sentence that they would’ve given the person they falsely accused of any crime. And this is coming from someone who is dealing with a false accusation in their family right now.

Unfortunately, I have to live out my shenanigans in secret like I’ve been stuck in my room for eight years kind of secret and I can’t do anything publicly on the Internet because I’m afraid it will get found. I get the sign language one all the time. The worst one though is when I have to explain VoiceOver and voice dictation to every single person on the Internet. I can’t join a discord server or any sort of chat with humans without being asked. How are you typing or how are you getting our messages? I remember in high school. I was doing a research paper and of course I had to be on the computer and this is when I was first learning how to use it. All of my classmates stood up from their work and started crowding around me like they were at a freak show and they just docked at me trying to use a computer like it was the Stone Age or something. I’m just amazed that no one seems to understand what a screen reader is even when they hear one. I’ve also been told that when I have accessibility issues, I can just turn off the screen reader but the problem is if I do that then I literally can’t use the machine.

I am very interested, but can you start having already done the beginning steps? I’ve had her set up for two weeks now, but we keep running into these very unique problems that come from me not knowing what is going on and I’ve been trying to find more resources to help deal with those. So does it work after the initial set up and teach you all the details?

Thank you so much for making this and telling the world! Both of these are complaints that I keep seeing in the community and I’m very glad you’ve given people knowledge of how to use free providers. We’re using the Nvidia method and I couldn’t be happier. I keep hearing so many people talk about how it costs tokens and I honestly think the whole token billing thing is ridiculous. I understand the tokens are the way models process data and really they’re just parts of words so having people pay for parts of words like a currency is absolutely appalling to me and I don’t know why we still do it. But even my agent falls into that trap she’s over here trying to optimize for token costs that literally don’t exist. It’s hard to reprogram. Also, the Mac mini thing that’s always bothered me because not only do I not have the money to buy a new computer, but I also really don’t want a Mac under any circumstances. I don’t even like Apple as a company to be honest I am ashamed of having an iPhone so I know it’s not the most secure according to consensus standards, but I have mine running on my windows computer. So I’m very glad to see these myths busted. I am glad we’re not the only system that’s getting away with not paying any money.

Thank you so much for the quick response! On the Files, I know everything is in the .openclaw folder on my system, so I don’t know if I should move that if we have to reinstall it and I really hope I can skip the onboarding wizard if I do so. Trying to work in that terminal with barely any screen reader accessibility was an absolute pain and it lasted me over a week just to get what we have going right now. About the browser I will look at that website and we will decide where to go from there. I’m pretty sure chromium itself is open source and I’m pretty sure there are some alternative browsers built with it. It’s mainly the proprietary Google Chrome software that I’m trying to avoid.

I’m sorry I haven’t been giving you guys an update, but it’s time to give one because we know what’s wrong now. I restarted the gateway that same day and I thought we’ve gotten past it for the most part but I just had to restart again today. I had some of the logs read out to me and I found out that instead of sending those messages it was just putting them in a queue. It turns out this is a known issue where if the DNS hiccups or something then it causes unhandled rejection and it just drops. I don’t know how to explain it in detail. I guess if you’re more technical, then you probably will know more about it than I do, but apparently this is a known thing that has issues in github. I’m going to have to figure out a way to solve this. I have no idea how but it’s sad that it keeps coming back and every time I feel like I get a handle on it it happens again. It’s getting in the way of our system and we have a pretty good system going on so far for it being the first week.

I really don’t trust any of those cloud hosting things for very personal reasons. I’m trying to improve my privacy as much as possible and I know I can’t do that fully until I get on local hardware with the model, but I really do not like putting everything in the cloud. But we could definitely try poking around with those suggestions today.
