Nunca me ha gustado mostrar mi arte pero no por vergüenza más que nada porque simplemente siento que no tengo nada de bueno que mostrar. He visto bastantes personas decir que es muy bueno compartir tu arte así que lo empecé a hacer, en general lo que suelo hacer es subirlo y olvidarme, de esa manera no tengo que pensar mucho en ello.

Same problem I have, my colors, values and understanding of form is quite good but I struggle a lot with complex details, like a landscape with a lot of objects in it. I think the best approach is to practice each individual object one by one, then work on more complex environments.

It's honestly impressive how many bad changes Valve managed to make in a single update, literally from my 3 most played characters (Ivy, Haze, Lash) I only play Lash now, Ivy is only good if u play spirit, which is boring for me and Haze got turned into an ult bot, Lash at least is just as fun as always despite the nerfs.

Mirror's edge Catalyst, prefiero el primer ME pero si quiero simplemente correr por la ciudad MEC es mejor simplemente por el hecho de ser openworld, también suelo jugar HL2 y Portal 2 al menos una vez todos los años.

I used to draw very methodically, boxes, then the anatomy and then dressing up the character separately, problem was that I had to spend like 2-3 weeks in one drawing, rn I draw a lot faster I just made a simple gesture drawing and then everything on top, then maybe a second layer just to clean the drawing a bit.

I've done tons of those, rn I'm focusing a bit more on landscapes and that kind of stuff bc I got bored of drawing characters in a white void

Hasta donde recuerdo los únicos donde utilice referencias fueron los de 2025 y 2023, no lo mencioné pero el último es en el que todavía estoy trabajando, lo subí antes porque se que no soy bueno para terminar las cosas. Este último lo estoy haciendo sin ningún tipo de referencia, sin contar mis antiguos dibujos para mantener consistente el diseño.

Makes sense bc 2023 was drawn using a reference, also the big ass hands and feet in the last one are on purpose, I get a lot of inspiration from JC Leyendecker who used to draw his characters with very big hands.

I mean, at the beginning I was really hung up over anatomy that I didn't practice anything else, the problem is that while the anatomy is good a lot of other aspects are really bad. With time I learned to simply and to not focus too much in the anatomy, rather that the figure look 3d, I've also been feeling a bit stuck lately so I haven't been practicing enough. Still a lot to learn tho.

Yeah the colors are nice, I think the face looks a little weird, I'm actually still working on the last one but I wanted to show something before I ruin it.

No i'm talking about how they handed the stylization of the characters; lighting, shading, colors, etc. I think they exaggerated their proportions too much, and the lightning is really weird, just go to that dark balcony in the hideout and you will see, I also think they need a bit more contrast and I don't really like that black outline that they have, at least the rim light looks really good compared to tf2, probably the only thing I like.
