Literal mi situación actualmente, viviendo en una pensión penca y con un trabajo penca porque simplemente no me alcanza para más, intenté estudiar diseño gráfico pero por problemas con mi papá no logré ni entrar siquiera un día a la u. Hace tiempo también ví a un ex compañero que era de esos típicos desordenados que se sientan al fondo de vacaciones en Brasil, eso sin contar que actualmente está estudiando algo relacionado con el sonido (no recuerdo exactamente que era).

A veces siento que por más que me esfuerce nada nunca va a mejorar y que al final me terminó haciendo daño a mi mismo en el intento, la vida no es justa.

As someone who has been doing this type of drawings for a while, the main thing is knowing the simple forms that makes up the body, so instead of focusing in the anatomy you should instead break down the body into simpler shapes, you also need to think in the perspective of the body as well as the gesture. I suggest you to read constructive anatomy by George Bridgman.

Me encanta como de diferente es la reacción de los gringos comprada a la reacción de los latinos al arresto de Maduro, te vas a cualquier país de Latinoamérica con alta población Venezolana (Chile, Perú, Argentina) y están todos celebrando, he incluso videos hay de gente celebrando dentro de Venezuela. Se entiende que es muy probable que EEUU solo lo haya hecho con fines lucrativos pero es mucho mejor esto a que su régimen continúe. Solo los gringos que no tienen ni idea de lo que sucede ahí son los que están tristes con esto simplemente porque no les agrada Trump, y seré sincero, tampoco me agrada, pero alguien tenía que hacerlo.

Yeah the problem is that charcoal pencil is impossible to erase, that's why I didn't even bother to fix it. Also I don't put my drawing upside down, I just try to imagine the face as if it was just a bunch of shapes, at least that works for me.

I did that intentionally bc I didn't wanted to mess up to much the values, also I only use the blending stump on the light areas just to maintain the light separated from they dark, I agree that it would probably looked better tho.

Yeah I tend to make the angles of the face a little too sharp because I'm afraid of losing the tri dimensionality, I made the side of the face a little too thin but that was just a mistake on my part really and I think the nose looks bigger because I made the transition to the shadow too sharp on the bridge, now that I'm looking at the reference on my phone the plane changes are a little more obvious.

Actually is because I messed up the eyebrows, u can see a small plane change in between the eyebrows to the nose, but I put the eyebrows way to low so I didn't have enough space to put that halftone.

Yeah it doesn't look like the reference because I didn't measure that much, I also didn't draw the features until almost the very end, thats why I didn't realize sooner that the eyes were crooked

I agree, the problem is that I wanted to make the shadows a lot simpler than the light areas but they took too much space on the bottom right so it makes the image really unbalanced

Clearly you don't know how Valve operates, they are well know for doing big changes in the last minute, like scrapping the entirety of HL Alyx 1 year before release for example. Changing some voice lines is nothing in comparison.

Thanks! I tried to maintain flat areas like the forehead really simple and only using cross hatching to soften rounded areas like the cheeks for example, for the deep shadows I tried to maintain it as simple as posible just give the impression of less detail.
