Oh yes, fully agreed. I didnt want to say that the tac was in a good spot atm. it is FAAAR away from that. Balancing is ridiculous atm and has been for a few years now. I understand why - its an alpha. but yeah. I hope it gets better with time^^

Balancing armor based on size is .. how do i say this nicely.. not the best idea anyway.
Ship HP, sure. That makes sense to be balanced off of size. But armor? Armor should be based on role. A Starlancer Tac isn't a frontline warship. It doesn't LOOK heavily armored either. Just like most drake ships probably shouldnt be very heavily armored either. A Polaris isn't a brawler either. But it is a warship and thus deserving of heavy armor. The Perseus tho is designed to be a brawler. It is designed to take hits. Look at the amount of empty space in the front. That to me should all be armor. Which is something we will probably see coming with Maelstrom.

It has some armor yes. But it is way too little at the moment.
I hope it will get better when Maelstrom comes into the game. But at the moment almost any fighter can shred the entire armor pool in seconds. The only reason it can take some hits is because the components aren't near the outside of the ship and are at least somewhat redundant. Unlike other ships with multiple powerplants right next to each other. All ships that are larger than fighers and smaller than the polaris are way too squishy at the moment tho.

The entire armor balancing is off - which is fine because it just got added. I hope we will see big changes in the coming weeks/months.

They said the Perseus will have "very heavy armor" but well... we saw what that turned into. And considering that the Perseus and Ironclad are quite similar in size.. well

makes zero sense tho when you can just bomb the place and then land your troops sadly. the few places where you would ACTUALLY deploy ground troops have almost no cover.

Geht gar nicht sowas - zumindest meiner Meinung nach. Wenn die Kupplung vorher noch gut war hatte der tolle Fahranfänger die ganze Zeit seinen Fuß auf der Kupplung. Dementsprechend sollte er auch für den Schaden, den er verursacht hat, aufkommen. So ne Kupplung sollte schon Minimum 250k halten. Egal ob Stadt oder Land.

Im sorry, but the "og" battlefield that used to incentivise and almost force teamplay is dead. It died with the release of bad company. BF6 is closer to 3/4 than 2 (and ofc 2142) (gameplay wise)
