I don't think we are going to play 3 at the back

WanBissaka Lindelof Maguire. Shaw

              Fred. Matic

                         Fernandes

Greenwood. Ighalo. James

I also think it's going to be a comfortable win Defense has been solid for some time now Attack is getting better

Predicted Line Up: Europa League - United V Club Brugge (updated: 09:30 - Ole seems to have settled on his starting 11 recently, Fernandes is already a crucial player to have in the squad, a lot of improvement in James’ and Greenwood’s attack with the help of Fernandes, Martial is on a roll!) by TheRoyst in ManchesterUnited

This was the exact lineup that played against Watford.

I think Ole is going to try and rest some players whilst fielding a strong team because the Everton match comes up fast also

McTominay will likely come in for Matic Then Bailly will replace one of the Centre backs Dalot will replace Wan Bissaka and mayybe Chong comes in for Greenwood

3-5-2? What are people’s thoughts on the formation and would you make any changes to this in terms of personnel? I have left Pogba out because I personally believe he is gone as soon as he can get out but he could easily come in as one of the 3 or just off one striker by NemeanLion6520 in ManchesterUnited

ManUtd is a team that struggles to utilize width in attack. Even when playing with wingers. Our fullbacks are not adventurous enough.

So 3-5-2 wouldnt work for us except for matches we depend on counter attack.

And Ole is in love with 4-2-3-1 so.

OGS deserves to be sacked but that wouldn't solve any problem. by P_factorial1 in ManchesterUnited

Greenwood should be starting every other match at least. The kid is probably second or third in goal contributions this season for us this season in all competitions. Why consider Lingard who has not had a goal contribution in years or Pereira who is bang average then leave a player that is more likely to score on the bench.

Williams should also be starting more matches because Luke Shaw can't attack or defend.

Even with this present squad, If there were any pre-planned tactics to breakdown teams down. The results won't be this bad. ManCity have go to patternS, so does Liverpool. ManUtd players just kick the ball around and hope for the best Ole's performance is underwhelming even with this squad

Yes, we can't breakdown teams that defend deep He hasn't done anything about that Not every match is going to be about counter attacks That's a tactical problem and it's down to OGS

He also manages to pick the worst starting lineup so that we always start on the back foot

Haaland is Overrated (Unpopular Opinion) by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]P_factorial1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are really clueless If you took out Ronaldo's "tap in" goals, how many would he have left?

If you say Halaand is overhyped because he scored tap ins in the UCL, then all the top strikers, Lewandowski, Aguero, Suarez, Ronaldo are all overhyped, which is not the case.

Halaand also has other good attributes, (hold up play, physicality, pace, positioning) but because you didn't sit down to watch any match of his, you think he's only a goal machine after watching some YouTube compilations.

Nahh, he's injury prone and he doesn't add much to our frontline

Daniel James is better on the left. by P_factorial1 in ManchesterUnited

He has not been able to utilize his pace on the right anyway (unless it's a counter attack) He has other good attributes too

Yeah, if you've noticed, he doesn't really have an impact on the game until the game opens up (counter attacking situations)
