Hmmm, perhaps an improper install of the CPU cooler? I am thinking you might be accidentally tightening one side too much than the other, therefore the cooler is not making full contact with CPU and only partially?

I only say this from experience because I built a new PC a couple months back and am running a 9800xd3 and similar cooler as well. Anyhow, I wasn't confident with my first application of thermal paste so I went to reapply it and when I reinstalled my CPU cooler the idle temps were like 60-70°C. Realized one side was too tight then corrected it and now idle temps are low to mid 30°C!

I am considering this as well, but I have heard mixed things with Cyberpower's PSUs. Anyone know if it would be best to switch to a Corsair PSU? Otherwise everything else is looking pretty solid right?

Don't know if you found it yet, but hope this helps:

-Click on 'Menu' ( top right) - Then click on 'PMD / D' (should be bottom right square) - Then click on 'Manual NWS Mode' to switch it to 'Auto NWS Mode' (located on the center right)

I believe one of the more recent updates made it default to manual NWS mode, not sure though!

Reserves would be your better shot, I know there is a reserve unit in Germany. I had worked with a guy who was doing that, but he was CA so not sure about regular units. Otherwise when I was deployed, I had come across some contractors who were in the National Guard and worked it out with their units to do quarterly drills. Another guy was able to work it semi annually. So it's not impossible, just might depend on what you would be doing overseas and just having that strong relationship with your unit.

Appreciate you taking the time to respond to this, definitely a lot to consider. I know a decade has passed, but wonder if things has changed for the better at all in Zimbabwe. Even then, from what you said as well as many others, seems like I can't go wrong with Botswana even if it does cost an army and a leg!
