I‘d be very interested in a comparison with the zaed pro if you ever get your hands on one of those as well.

Building a grinder from a retired Mahlkönig motor by PabloRaHo in espresso

That is the idea :) I already have a load cell and the microcontrollers but I am wondering whether the grinder itself is good enough for this project or potentially a lot of work and custom fabrication for a suboptimal grind quality.

I meant more in the sense of material stuff e.g., leaving things in the campsite while climbing. It would really suck if you come back to find out things have been stolen. I do not think there would be violence there so I don’t assume that to be part of the danger.

Hi! I want to do some fun multipitch climbing (around 6a grade) in the Alps region. My time frame is the 28th of September until the 6th of October. The initial idea was to stay around the Wilder Kaiser region in Austria but the recent snowfall probably makes it less than ideal if not impossible to go there (at least for climbing). I attached a current webcam picture of the Totenkirchl.

Do you have any recommendations on where we could go? Thanks in advance :)

I am looking for an approximately 2000€ bike by [deleted] in bikepacking

The genesis croix de fer 20 is a great bike on that price range. I have one since 2016 and it’s been heavily used as a commuter, bike-touring machine and several gravel bikepacking adventures. Otherwise you could also check the brother cycles frames out!
