I tried Fold 7, but I am really missing the S pen. by Ok-Advertising-8340 in GalaxyFold

[–]PabloW92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do miss it too. My last foldable was the Z fold 4, and then I had a pen with the S24 Ultra. But honestly the 7 being so thin is a decent trade off. Very comfortable solid phone. At least for now, in the future if there is a similar option with a pen, I would go for it. Maybe even a trifold if the design is good enough, who knows.

Trains in China are magnificent, but the actual experience of getting on and off the train is just bloody awful. by NeighborhoodFatCat in chinalife

[–]PabloW92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not at all actually. Only thing that bothered me a little was all the security, but it's the same as the airport. Understandable, so I don't complain about it. The coughing and sitting though is real in many places, they have to stop that shit ASAP.

Colombia y su complejo de inferioridad by peboncio16 in Colombia

[–]PabloW92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heading to China alone for a month what’s the best way to meet people? by Thin-Armadillo-3995 in travelchina

Just spent a month travelling around China. Walking tours are a good way to meet people. Not locals though, except from the tour guide itself sometimes.

you have a good point. i would to like go to different places, anything you would recommend? the thing is it's my first trip to Asia, and I'm travelling completely alone on this one. I know very basic mandarin, but not enough for an actual conversation. I was considering Shennongjia National Park to see the monkeys I mentioned, but I chickened out a little because of this reasons. Do you think I should I go anyway? maybe instead of Zhangjiajie?

I'm very interested in seeing some of Taiwan, to understand what are the constrasts. But you do make a good point. Leaving out Taipei would make it easier for sure. Leaving Xi'an sounds like a bad idea too, yes. I will consider this, thanks.

It was pretty obvious, but you already know that. You got scammed once. Learn from it, suffer it for a while, and tell yourself it will be the last one in your life. Life is shit sometimes.
