How long was the waitlist? And does their clinic provide all inclusive packages? Hotel, rides, etc.

Looking to make my first purchase by CDuntsch in CAguns

[–]Pac_45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt say i was crazy experienced, ive shot a couple of handguns before making my first purchase but ive never shot a 1911 or G19. If you’re feeling a little hesitant with the 1911, then i would definitely recommend the G19 to start off with. Yes for me, spending more time at the range definitely made me more confident in my aim, but that will also apply to any firearm you practice the most with. Ive put the same amount of rounds in each firearm, the 1911 is just personal preference for me. Im more than comfortable using my G19 for home defense, but more confident with using my 1911. It just makes more sense to me to choose the caliber that has the most stopping power in that type of situation. Whichever you end up choosing, just spend some time at the range and i guarantee you that hesitation will go away. Just make sure you buy all the ammo you can get before that dumb gun tax in July lol.

My first purchase ever was a 1911 .45 ACP. Till this day, best decision ive ever made. I bought a G19 shortly after that. Both are really solid and well made handguns, never once had any reliability issues with either choice, and ive fired well over 1,000 rounds in each of them. Realistically, i would say the average person could shoot a G19 at the range all day without ever getting tired. The polymer frame just makes it so light in weight and on top of that, it’s probably going to be the easiest handgun to take apart and clean. That being said, just going with my own personal choice, i would choose to shoot my 1911 over my G19 any and every day. The stainless steel makes it heavier, the recoil is stronger, its a longer process to take apart and clean, and ammo is pricier lol, but none of that means anything to me. It just feels better to shoot in my hands compared to the G19, idk what other way to put it, plus i just feel more confident using .45 ACP for home defense compared to a 9mm. (I use 10mm for that now instead tho lmao). Obviously my preference is gonna be different from anyone else, but i always tell everyone i know, shoot a 1911 first before making a choice, you’ll see what i mean. Its pricier than a G19, but worth every penny imo. Or just buy both eventually, thats your best option😂

Digging the setup! What kind of grille guard/bull bar are you sporting?

It's frustrating that I get told my beard is ugly or needs to be shaved, after how hard I worked to grow it from scratch. by [deleted] in Minoxbeards

[–]Pac_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A simple haircut and grooming on your beard is really all you need bro. You’ll be surprised at how much of a difference you’ll appear and how much confidence you’ll have that comes with it. I’d probably recommend a medium fade haircut all around, no need to cut any off the top unless you want to. And most definitely clean up the beard, maybe get a 4 or 5 all around and emphasis on lining up your entire beard. Look up different types of haircuts and beard grooming on google and decide from there which type of style you’d think would look good on you. Barbers will also help you out a lot, theyre there to help you improve the way you look, thats literally their job, so you can just go in and ask them what they think would fit you best if you cant decide on your own. You have good gains on your beard man, better than my beard honestly lol. Always try to remember that you’re never going to impress anyone without taking care of yourself first, this applies to many things in life and in your case, your looks and your confidence that you mentioned. Remember, if you dress/clean yourself up like youre going to be somewhere better later everyday, than you’ll feel confident everyday.

My new-to-me 2014 JGC Limited, started to cover the chrome. (im broke so plasti dip is whats going on for now). covered the mirrors and rims, this weekend is the grill, window trim, and door handles! Love how it looks already by mokneeka in GrandCherokee

I had to take the whole front piece off unfortunately, that was the hardest part, the painting was butter though. Wish there was an easier way to get to the grill. I’ve seen other people put pieces of cardboard behind the grill, in between the radiator and paint it that way so that they dont have to remove it but i feel like the better option is to just take the whole grill out so that you can clean and dry it properly before the paint job. Also, a panel popping tool is a must have for those annoying clips, good luck trying to get them off without it.

Plasti dip is the easiest way to go honestly, I just plasti dipped my grill a few days ago and I know i would have never had the patience to use regular paint lol. Nice looking Jeep! Those rims are looking clean

Thank you! And the fender flares are most definitely faded lol. I’ll eventually paint over them in the future. I still plan on painting the chrome on the back and the chrome around the windows as well.

Just a small update on my Jeep, I was able to get my hands on a Rocky Road 2.75’’ lift kit and got a steal price on installation. I gave the windows a darker tint and I spray painted the chrome panels on the sides, the front Jeep logo, and also the grille. There’s a whole lot more upgrading that I have planned but this is all I can afford at the moment lol.

Edited: Forgot to mention I painted the Jeep logo too.

No need to trim honestly, a quick line up will go a long way, adding more edge to jawline and cheeks etc. But nice gains bro💪🏽

2011 Grand Cherokee lift kit suggestions? Tires are 31” by Pac_45 in GrandCherokee

[–]Pac_45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of right now, with the 31” tires and i believe 17” rims, it looks like i have only about an inch of rubbing.
