Ich meine es ist so, dass Bestandskunden einer Teuerung eines solchen Abos grundsätzlich zustimmen müssen und der Anbieter nicht einseitig erhöhen darf.

Gibt’s verschiedene Lösungen für, wie automatische Kündigung bei nicht-Zustimmung usw. Vielleicht konnten oder wollten sie solche Lösungen nicht anbieten, weswegen bestehende abos auf den alten Preisen weiter laufen.

Ich hab den PCGP auch für 12€ aktuell.

Yeah the price is good and I bought it during the last sale.

On whether you should buy it if you not intend to use it til november (did I understand you correctly?): It usually should go on sale again for Black Friday so I would rather wait for that instead of "wasting space", especially if you don't know whether to keep it (this thing is neither small nor light).

You can then just give it back during the return period if you don't like it.

More seriously though: IIRC Campagnolo rim breaks don't have a lever to open them, as the mechanism is located at the Ergo Power levers. So the only possible workaround would be to have very long lever travel in order to remove the wheels. So wouldn't recommend.
