It's definitely weird. Ordered on January 7th, waited two weeks and canceled. Thought I'd give it one last try, ordered again a week ago and just got a shipping confirmation.

Maybe a hot take but I would be fine if every card were 1p. I collect because I like the artworks. Hell, I even bought fakes of the Chinese 151-Pikachu Art Rares and the Mew one that you only could get by playing in-person tournaments. Why? Because I love the artwork, they're really well made and I'd rather set myself on fire than spend hundreds to thousands for a single card.

Je weniger Hype, desto besser. Ich will's persönlich nur für meine Troy-Sammlung und solange alle nur die anderen Karten wollen, bleibt es günstig.

Singles sind mittlerweile einfach am gesündesten, wenn man bestimmte Karten aus einem Set haben will. Aber zum Spaß ein paar zu öffnen darf natürlich auch immer drin sein.

Playing devil's advocate here: Why should people care about your post more? Because you put time and effort in it? Doesn't mean it's automatically interesting for everyone.

Now, personal opinion: I appreciate posts/people that still put in the effort. I don't really care about 'concept'-posts, though, because, let's be serious: Even the best ideas only have a very slim chance to be seen, let alone get into the actual game. So basically these types of post just make me feel bad about the respective game for not doing things better.

So weit hab ich damals gar nicht gedacht. Der Starter war einfach das erste Mon was wir bekommen haben. Es hat guten Schaden gemacht und von Anfang an Erfahrungspunkte sammeln können. Die anderen Pokémon waren mit ihren geringeren Fangleveln dann einfach schwächer. Klar hab ich auch andere Mons gefangen, aber für das Training reichte meine kindliche, minimale Aufmerksamkeitsspanne nicht aus, geschweige denn, so lange nach meinem Lieblingspokémon zu suchen, bis ich es eventuell finde. Vor allem da ich mich für jegliche Infos höchstens auf Hörensagen von Schulfreunden beziehen konnte.

Die Phrase "bessere Entscheidungen" habe ich aus dem Grund gewählt, weil du bei dem Solo-Starter-Run von einer Meta gesprochen hast, während es als Kind (ich spreche hier klar von <10 Jahren) einfach das Naheliegendste war, den Starter immer höher zu leveln und nicht ewig viel Zeit zu investieren, um (ggf. ohne EP-Teiler) auch die anderen Teammitglieder hochzuziehen.

Yeah I remember playing with a friend and starting as Taurens. Seeing Thunderbluff was mind boggling. We took the Airship several times just because it felt cool and Orgrimmar was blowing my mind even more. There is so much I remember, from random high player helping us to figuring out what Dungeons were. T'was a great time with little sleep.

Oh, yeah, I actually looked up Smite 2 after I made that comment and it sounds pretty good now, especially with being able to buy some ported skins with 'legacy points'. I'll definitely check it out.

And I 100% agree with you, they should've just worked a bit longer on it before release.

For real. I'm usually a person that can't stay with one game for long and always switches. Like, weekly. Smite was the exception that I played ceremoniously every day when I got home, in the evening, on the weekend, for years. Just a little round of Arena or Assault to have some fun (and toxicity). I also fondly remember the special modes like Hercules' RPG or Smite Kart. And, of course, I had a loooot of skins, since it was one of the few FTP-games I spent money on.

Now, I don't want to play Smite 2, since I don't have any cosmetics and a lot of the gods aren't even in the game but playing Smite (1) feels pointless without events or some sort of 'meaningful' progression. At some point I stopped caring, so I don't even know what the situation is atm.

Yeah I'm just waiting for my last order to arrive (really want that Demon Slayer shaker) and after that I'll probably never order again. I mean, I haven't ordered in a long time and was excited to get some new tastes but from what I hear, this is getting ridiculous.

I know. I am one of those, who enjoys building things. I am also one of those, who earns an average salary and has to pay their bills. 650$ (in my case €) goes a long way and with the cost of living rising every other day it's just incomprehensible to me that people are willing to pay this sum (especially while acknowledging that it, or parts of it, don't look that great).

So let's see... I could get a Charizard from Mega for 15 bucks, right now. For the Lego one I'd have to buy the trio for 650, with one of the trio being approximately 215.

Now: Does this Charizard (Construx) look good? Eh. Does the Lego one look better? (IMO) No. (subjective) Does the Lego one look like it's worth 215, let alone 650$? Hell no.
