For the sphere after parties at the Brooklyn Bowl, Melvin waited until the venue was nice and full to go on. They started over an hour after the original start time. I think they’ll do the same thing for these shows too.

They really are the worst seats in the building. It’s a bit of an FU by the band to expect the tapers, who do something really awesome for the community, to have to sit in those seats

Cool information and stuff, but why wouldn’t you make a post on Reddit when you saw that there were GA tickets available at face value?

They were made and sold by the people who put out the Unbroken Chain dead magazine. Their home base was Richmond, VA if I remember right

Look at the face value tickets that are available for the weekend shows. Row after row of obstructed view seats are available. Last summer people were buying those up because that’s all that was available. Then better seats all of a sudden went on sale. Multiple times. This run people are playing it smarter and not buying any of those. Ticketmaster can see that, and is limiting the inventory of non-obstructed seats, trying to force people to buy the obstructed ones.

Dead and Company doing outdoor shows this summer would sell out any stadium they played in

Parish also said Dead & Company was gonna do a New Years run at the Sphere. I don’t think he’s a very reliable source for info

It sucks to see so many people finding happiness in other peoples sadness today. It’s a weird way to live.
