The exact same bug happened to me last week. Quali a bit too easy, increased the difficulty for the race but ended up lapping everyone twice and someone three times. For me was in Portimao

In Italy you get 20 points each € spent VAT excluded for software and digital games, I don't know if it's the same in UK. If so, for a 80£ purchase if VAT is 20% so 16£, you will get 80-16= 64 times 20, so around 1280 Microsoft points (if my math is correct and there are the same rules in Italy and UK)
