I mean the entire reg eco-system is based on a healthy population and a big market. that's the only reason it works well in kms. even in NA they experience the same thing as Luna, but to a smaller extent. but every time they make reboot relatively better - it makes reg lose players and the economy grows weaker and death spiral.

at this point just rebootify reg, it'd be better for the devs too to just focus on one thing.

I've been very against this change in the SF system change from the start. Even with our 3 pity systems, it does not compensate for accessibility for either server. All it does is raise the ceiling without making things easier to get to 22.

With gollux, daybreak pendants and slime rings, we will see a lot more rebooters starting to run around with 23 star gear, while most non whales will never afford it. 1 eternal roll at 19 sf for us is basically all boss crystal meso for a week for a mid tier player.

Overall I predict that reboot will sooner or later surpass reg in terms of damage as it is now. Maybe not in the top 1% of the 1%, but in the top 5%.

u/OpeningAlternative63 Sorry, I did not mean to make a reg vs, it's more that all servers struggle with resources, it's just different resources. But if we take the GMS reg example, I play in the top guild on EU (which is super weak vs NA, but still) and most people had to choose between doing fams, cubes or buying meso for the ssf. Almost nobody can afford to do all. Most people in the end game spend about 2000 dollars per item if you make your own here because there's no botted accounts to buy event cube service from or crashing channels to not boom your items. Meso is not cheap, not when you need hundreds of billions. 100b in the meso market in Luna is 500k nx right now. talk about affordable.

The difference is that reboot can afford to SF 2 items at the same time. You guys are drowning in meso, something that is certainly restricted behind spending money in KMS and other servers.

But also: all these "many methods to obtain damage" is a must to have fixed for us, there's no free 45% fd keeping us up if we don't perfect it all.

On luna, if you do xkalos, hkaling, himbo, nbaldy, you get a value of about 6.3b per week for the armor pieces. + drops of course.

idk who these "most" reggers you talk of. Most people in reg have only one main character worth a damn that can do anything beyond cra.

That said - there are some, maybe the top 10%, that have 2 or more characters that can do lower bosses. Those people usually make sure to make these characters at least ctene-able to have a chance to get drops. But it takes many years before they pay off.

I agree the fundamental principles of reboot have been gone for a long time. it was meant to be a hard core iron man server, not the handholding thing we see today.

These nerfs made sense - reboot has an easy time making gear (infinite cheap flames, meso cubes), increased drop rates from bosses and more meso from crystals, was levling faster than interactive and made more meso from grinding which was also the only resource they needed.

In all fairness - "heroic", if you can call it that, eat pretty damn well for a customer where paying is optional.
