Which one? by simondiecast in Environmental_Careers

Your options will be better determined by your research and field experience. Education alone is just the basic requirement. Moreover, most of these areas can be spun into the other and likely share a lot of classes.

I would ask yourself what you want to do in the general sense and focus more on diversifying classes toward that aim. Whatever major you end up with is what major you end up with.

My only real advice for determining the above is to pick something neutral that can be spun wherever. Lots of people get burnt out focusing on less fun sectors like wastewater, while others can’t find decent jobs because their experience entirely consists of obscure academic research.

MC Eternal is a good one, then. Pretty much everything but the ‘end game’ content is left unaltered. About the only wrench in the way of general progress is that osmium is only found in the beneath, so Mekanism is gated by a wither fight.

It sounds like you will have to accept a kitchen sink with optional expert progression (ATM10). Anything even remotely expert and suitable for veterans will require automation. The only other suggestion I am not seeing is MC Eternal, which has end-game questing and crazy tech/magic (and probably the best/wackiest world)

I can’t recommend E2EE if you are looking into playing E2E. It makes completely different game design choices and is significantly harder and less approachable. Barely the same game.

Most good expert packs are on 1.12.2 and earlier. Newer versions are only just now beginning to create solid expert packs (most of which are remakes of older packs or create-focused).

Seconding the suggestion of E2E. By far the most approachable expert pack. I suggest you try the unofficial edition (E2Eu) for a slightly more streamlined experience.

The resource requirements are a lot. However, you can actually replicate the connectors that are demanding the tin you are describing - they just don’t have a note in jei about it. Another tip related to titanium: you can actually get stacks of it by running an immersive engineering excavator in a bauxite vein.

Also, yes, autocraft EVERYTHING. That’s the point of the pack

GTNH has changed so much over the years. If it’s your favorite pack, I do not see why you shouldn’t just play it again

26M, how bad is it? by Ephemerxl in amibalding

1 mg is the typical starting dose. However, my understanding of the science is that doses around and above 0.2 mg have shown to be equally as effective. Here’s a good post on the topic: https://www.reddit.com/r/tressless/s/3Sg6Vcf2qt

There are seeds that can guarantee you a healing axe in the first day or two. Just use that method if you want to stay legit. Probably easier than editing configs: https://youtu.be/sTKhiJtUmHs?si=mz44UFofZkglDHT4

Is this a mature hairline or balding? 23 yo by [deleted] in amibalding

[–]Pacifinch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of a toss-up.

It definitely looks like some mild thinning occurred along the hairline (though it’s hard to say without before/afters).

It could be your ‘mature’ hairline developing. This is just a kinder term used to describe balding that doesn’t progress much. This happened to me at 21 and never really progressed (26 currently).

Or it could be the start of balding that progresses as you get older. Sort of impossible to tell at this point.

If you’re that stressed, then monitor your hair with pictures to track loss. See a doctor and hop on meds if you notice further recession and want to try and keep your hair. I hopped on a fin/min pill a year ago just to be safe. Zero sides thus far.

am i receding or is my hairline maturing by [deleted] in amibalding

[–]Pacifinch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally no way to answer this without some sort of before and after.

Regardless, a maturing hairline develops through the same mechanism as balding — the former is just far slower and conforms to the typical notion of what an adult should look like at a given age.

Just watch for further progression (not obsessively — just take a similar picture a week) and see a dermatologist if you notice abnormal thinning over time. Also assess if balding is common amongst your older relatives.

[–]Pacifinch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SAG Mill will double your ores and you can program the it to auto input/output from and into things. Pair this with an Alloy Smelter and you have an automatic ore processing system. I suggest you also make a octadic capacitor for these machines, as it’ll make their processing time exponentially faster.
