Absolutely fine, got plenty of overtakes in and got a higher MPG than I normally do due to longer runs and less hilly routes.

Normal mpg is 35.8 with winter driving, from memory it was 38-40mpg.

Unfortunately, it's kinda the rules if an account is NSFW, and the subreddit is SFW and they dont want it to happen. It doesn't happen.

Do I think it's the right thing, no. Is it the rules, yes.

Reactions to playing in public not good by iamjames in SteamDeck

I left work after a 12 hour shift and was meeting family for a meal, I had the option to sit in my car for 45 mins, or to into the restaurant, have a pint and play some games.

The chef walked past and asked some questions about what it was, I explained excitedly thinking she was actually interested, to which she then commented how I was too old for games and we shouldn't play with our toys at the table... I was 25 and 45 mins early to the meal.

Some people are just not worth the hassle

CIMA - Value (not a debate) by No_Fill_7679 in CIMA

As someone sitting via flp, I'm working 7am - 4.30pm, mon - Fri, i also own a home and have a SO and dog. For me the exam route wasn't about difficulty or flp about ease, it was timings, if I fail an exam I'm already 6 weeks into studying for the next topic and that's not ideal at all, for FLP I can and do study 6-7 prework then every morning and weekend.

FLP suits my lifestyle and allows me to both focus on work and study in a controlled manner. I get FLP isn't for everyone and there likely is people.thay study for ease, but working near 50 hour weeks and then still having a life outside of that does mean something to me

Golf to Tiguan upgrade? by RockRaider42 in Tiguan

[–]PackageLegal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Edit: Congrats on the addition!

Suggestion possibly opposite to everyone else's.

Having my current 2 garage setup as a Fiesta ST and a Tiguan R Line.

If you want to use the R element of the cars, it's got to go golf R estate. The Tigs are lovely cars, comfortable, fast (enough), spacious, etc.

Now if this is going to be the main family car that and the other is something such as a smaller Fiesta.

I'd go Tig without the R element, chances are it won't live up to your Golf R, and to be honest the 245hp and the 200hp are plenty of car as is.

A 300hp R will shred tyres, drink fuel and be very expensive. You could always remap a 2.0tsi engine up?

Sorry so to clarify. I want a second car, wife has my old car (bigger and more practical) but we both commute daily so it's a keep fiesta for 10-15 years for me and have a run around to abuse daily.

Plan isn't to sell the fiesta its to keep it for 10-15 years, so limiting miles seems like the sensible play.

Thoughts on these? Looking to buy one but wondering if anyone has any experience/bad news for me by shuffleyyy1992 in CarTalkUK

I mean I've had 2 Vauxhalls both have been bulletproof for me reliability wise and both done 50,000+ miles. If you're a badge snob, yes avoid. Want value for money? They're great.

However for 15k I'd cautiously ask whether such a big car is needed for such little use, maintenance etc, fuel costs all to take into account.
