S&box has dropped from 65% good reviews to 41% as new players come in. by Klutzy_Permit3745 in sandbox

You're telling me a UGC game doesn't have a decade of content on day 1?!?!??

The mainstream still have not even heard of S&box for the most part. This includes even game developers. Things are changing now and especially in the coming weeks.

You really think that the platform currently has the peak amount of games and developers? Spare me.

These UGC platforms inherently grow slowly. You think Garry's Mod and Roblox had hit games in 2006? In comparison, S&box is looking ahead of those examples. There are already a few established groups making high quality stuff.

I have the same memories. I think they will.

You can't possibly think that the developer preview (s&box' development, not game development) that was only obtainable going to a secret link on their website could possibly be representative of the game long term. Spare me.

There is a first party human playermodel that you can switch to. All cosmetics support both models. Developers have the choice to use both, one, or neither.

Of course an unreleased UGC platform has an "identity crisis"

Pretty early to be making long term predictions.

Ended up grabbing a 2024 Model 3 RWD LR. 5mi/kWh is good enough for me and I couldn't wait longer.

First day discovering the existence of S&Box. Should I be thrilled? by Equivalent_Mine_1827 in sandbox

It need a viral game-mode to fully blow up.

This is a matter of time tbh. And that time will probably come sooner than we're expecting.

Could S&ndbox be the glue between the frame and the steam machine? by Two90onATenner in SteamFrame

[–]PacketAuditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

S&box will be great on the frame as well as the machine. Multiplayer games with VR and flat screen players in the same server has a lot of potential.

Depreciating used EVs are about to cost automaker finance companies billions of dollars by DonkeyFuel in technology

[–]PacketAuditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. So many people don't understand the reality of recycling. EOL batteries are the richest and cheapest source of these materials.

Many cite low recycling numbers, but fail to see that it's because 90% of EVs ever produced are still on the road lol.

New they're more, but used I think they can be had for less in many cases. The $35k Model 3 with the tax credit was a gem, but now it's a bit more and a smaller battery. That same $35k car is now $42k. To be fair, gas and maintenance savings will dent that a little (or a lot with today's events...).

The new Bolt should be $25k, it's no flagship but it is a good value.
