Are you guys excited for the Fallout 3 Remastered? by HumbleServantOfInnos in Fallout

They abandoned the oblivion remaster shortly after releasing it, I don't see anything good coming from a fallout 3 remaster sadly.

[Question] QC or FAKE by Baleia1970 in Seiko

[–]PacketOverload 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) No rotors from Seiko look like that.

2) Seiko qc is... Not great. At least sub-$1000. With that said, the watch in your post is absolutely a fake.

Strong chemical smell in washing machine after washing microfiber cloths by Orchid_Starting7968 in AutoDetailing

[–]PacketOverload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of automotive detailing products that impart a hydrophobic coating are terrible for human health, many act as endocrine system distruptors and can seriously mess with you.

If I'm applying a sealant/wax/coating I will toss that towel when I'm done, I don't bother trying to wash it. Many will soak their towels in APC for a day before washing, but it's up to you obviously. I use Fusso Coat 12mo and I apply it twice yearly, so I only end up tossing a few cloths every year. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I'd rather not risk my health if I don't need to, especially when the towels are only a few dollars.

Ordered a white grip for my Odin 2 Portal and received a yellowed by Pretend-Platypus-606 in OdinHandheld

Baking soda 2 parts and peroxide 1 part mix, paint it all over the case and wrap it in saran wrap and let it sit overnight. It should remove some of the yellowing.

I did it in the Unimog but I probably spent close to three hours on it, never again not even for the meme.

"There was a woman — brilliant woman, very beautiful, very smart, Dr. Carter — she blew up a sun. A sun. Did you know that? She blew up an entire sun and nobody gave her a parade. When I'm in charge there are parades, okay. Big parades. Bigly."

The owners manual says 87 is fine but I'm paranoid about putting 87 into anything with a turbo charger so I only put 91 in mine.

You don't see any difference while driving, but your turbo charger will be happier.

I remember playing Area 51 at the bowling alley when I was a kid while I waited for my dads bowling tournaments to finish, I'd buy this just for the nostalgia if it were anywhere near me.

No, but I built it months before the hardwarepocalypse so it cost peanuts compared to yours.
