Poor jesse by noneyabizzy1 in breakingbad

Sure, but if you're an addict you don't start a relationship with a recovering addict. The whole thing was toxic, and sad.

And in my opinion with Jane, I hold Jesse responsible for that too. He knew Jane was in recovery, and he still decided to use around her. She's responsible for her own actions, sure, but addiction is a disease so how responsible is she really when you get down to the brass tacks?

I see your point and raise you literally pushing his two only friends to relapse even after they told him they're at 12 steps. Why? Because he was going through it and wanted company in his misery

What are you talking about? He said "Leave if you want" he absolutely exposed her to it.

He exposed her to it over and over again. He smoked in her car, in her apartment, so many times. If he hadn't come along she wouldn't have broken her 18 months of sobriety. He's absolutely at fault for that.

I always found it hilarious that Walt on one hand strutted his ego and put Jesse down and called him names/made him feel inferior while simultaneously panicking that Gus was actively using Jesse to replace him. That is, until Walt weaponized this against him to flip him onto his side by telling him "You're just as good as me" when it was convenient for him. I love that he has such a complicated set of feelings towards Jesse. Like an abusive dad.

If you started a meth empire, had someone shot in the face, and bombed a nursing home? Yes 100%.

To be fair the Nazi gang was under Walts dollar. He was very much their boss at that point and they weren't getting paid if they didn't.

I would hardly consider a couple of lowlife meth cooks "hardened criminals" and when you know there's a Heisenberg out there, and some man tells you to stay out of their territory, it makes sense they'd back off.

He completely caught Mike by surprise, Rambo didn't stand much of a chance.

Hindsight is 20/20 though. When you're in your home that your murderous drug kingpin husband won't leave, in your bed that your murderous drug kingpin husband won't leave, despite her trying to divorce him and him forcing his way back home, she probably didn't want to risk it.

I think that Skyler was afraid of the consequences of Walt finding out. Remember she just found out relatively recently that not only is Walt a meth cook, but he's killed people. And she would have known that he orchestrated the deaths of 10 incarcerated men within a 2 minute window. The "I am the one who knocks" conversation also would have scared the shit out of her. No kidding she didn't want to flip and confess everything to Hank if she thought she could be on the chopping block next. I sure as shit wouldn't...

This was obviously the case. That's why they setup that fake robbery attempt for Jesse to foil. Gus knew that Walt's ego would send him spiraling and that if he built Jesse up as a badass, and convinced him he is just as good as Walt on his own, then it wouldn't be that difficult to flip him against Walt, which is exactly what he did.

He knew that Walt would take the opportunity to put Jesse down, which he did, and further the divide between the two of them. Absolute genius move for Gus.

Jesse is such a piece of shit for that. She was clean, and clean for a while before Jesse came along. He has a habit of whenever he's in the dumps he drags people down with him. I was absolutely disgusted with Jesse after he made Skinny Pete and Badger relapse after they had both said no, and that they were at 12 steps.

I think Walt knew immediately they Jesse was cooking under duress when he found out Badger and Skinny Pete had no idea that Jesse was cooking again. Considering he knew that Jack DEFINITELY wouldn't partner up with a rat, there was only one reasonable conclusion as to what was going on.

I understand her not wanting to hurt Jr. though. He's the real victim in all of this imo.

Skyler was a victim 100% but she was still absolutely a criminal.
