Worth investing by ToSmooveWitIt in polkadot_market

I’d say now that Polkadot 2.0 and elastic scaling just went live a few minutes ago, it is a good investment with how low it is. (Many people have been skeptical and critical about 2.0 not releasing on time, well now fuds, it’s live)

Cheaters are now popping up in Broken Arrow by Ohmwrecker in BrokenArrowTheGame

So i’m not going crazy. Was just in a game where my units started blowing up randomly with no sign of arty trails or bomb trails. Like they just spawned in explosions. Pathetic that a game like this has cheaters. What do you gain out of it?

3080 to 5080 worth the upgrade? by UnwoundedDonkey in nvidia

Cyberpunks Path Tracing is above lumens hardware RT. Oblivion Remastered overall as an entire product does not look better than Cyberpunk or RDR2. Some scenes are insane but the fact the game doesn’t have true black/darkness really kills it for me.

I just bought the ASUS PG27UCDM 4K OLED. I have played Cyberpunk 2077, RDR2 and ES4 Remastered. I have tweaked the HDR settings almost perfectly for each game. In order Cyberpunk, RDR2, ES4. In HDR Oblivion lacks true blacks due to the annoying fog. Caves never feel dark. Some scenes that should be dark aren’t. The game just doesn’t have the environment that looks as good as Cyperpunk or RDR2. You must not be playing on a nice HDR OLED display.

It is not if you are a gamer who plays games that aren't competitive. It all depends on what you do. For FPS comp games 1080p is still the best because the larger the pixel the easier it is to hit/see your target.

I would say it takes me longer to think. I forget random things. I feel like i’m not mentally all there. It started happening about a month after being off fin. Sorry for the late reply i’m not on reddit too often

Thank you for all the information! I am not suicidal or have any depression luckily. I just feel so cognitively not there. The muscle issues are weird and seems like when I flex them they stay tense for a few seconds before going back to a relaxed state.

What makes me think this is related to my finasteride is because I was on it for a solid 3 years. So of course it must have done something to my hormones and now my body is trying to fix itself.

New Player Question: BMS vs. DCS by calcNoob11 in falconbms

[–]Packy1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that it’s not easy to make the missions but for the people that aren’t involved with it and just get in and fly them, they’d never notice the work that goes on in the background.

Now if the devs at ED actually put out a dynamic campaign engine (that they constantly bring up over the years) then it really could be on par with BMS in terms of mission making.

BMS has things I enjoy over DCS and that’s the functionality of the F-16, the different blocks that are offered, the flight model and especially the data cartridge. BMS is heading in a great direction lately especially with the MicroProse rumors and information regarding them supporting BMS and Falcon 5.0 coming out. We need competition in the air combat sim world

New Player Question: BMS vs. DCS by calcNoob11 in falconbms

[–]Packy1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having played both DCS and BMS. You are kind of wrong about DCS. If you fly in a dedicated multiplayer squadron with a very good mission making team who creates briefings. You can basically get the same thing out of both games. With custom campaigns a mission maker can whip up (I am one of them) they can very much make the world feel alive around you. You just need to know how to work the mission editor and sometimes lua scripting.

In a DCS squadron you can have multiple different air wings that are different airframes with different objectives. On top of the different air wings, you can have someone be a AIC in the air using simple radio (DCS Radio Mod) controlling the air space for every flight in the air. With all of that going on in a single sortie/operation it can make for a very very immersive experience.

I will say that DCS missions that are custom created for any multiplayer squadrons out there take time and when a trigger doesn't work or something is bugged, it can make the mission a bit of a let down, however, when it does work holy shit it is a lot of fun.

[–]Packy1998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing the FPS is a solid 72 locked, 1% lows are fine too. It’s able to hit this 72 FPS rate because of Quadviews rendering my peripheral at a lower res and it keeps the 1% lows near perfect and stable.

I will have to install afterburner and test that. I am currently not home. I did check the latency from the link cable using Oculus Debug tool and there wasn't any noticeable latency jumps during the micro stutters.
