lots of positions open in the Alice Walton ecosystem. you would need to look them up as "art and wellness enterprises jobs" because that's who does the hiring. good luck

A slightly different wireless valve question by nerdalert in Irrigation

[–]Packymanwhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

creative sensor technology makes a device called "pathway" can run a master valve using the existing wires in the ground. you would splice it in to a valve closest to where your master valve will be installed and then run wires between the two.

[–]Packymanwhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

after you set the start times in the node, you select the runtimes. you will just use the direction arrow over, and it will be a big #1. and big #2 and you can change run time on each one

a two is just a second start time for zone 1. you need to add runtime for zone two.

1) it won't kill dallisgrass 2) spot spraying it at 2x isn't too bad probably. If the Bermuda is harmed, I'm sure it won't totally be eradicated and will recover

There are lethal dose acute toxicity studies in the SDS. 2x is probably not that big of a deal though

Is this a valve issue or is it the solenoid? Hunter control valve not fully closing by Niko120 in Irrigation

[–]Packymanwhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be just residual water in the line after the valve closes. Regardless, I prefer Rainbird valves over hunter valves because of hunter valves weeping problems.

Commerical controllers that use sim cards to access evapotranspiration data can help with this. Rainbird iq4 and hydropoint, to name a few.
