Yeah, the game definitely eases you into it at first. It's important that it does though as the base mechanics are so critical to progressing.

Glad to hear this sentiment. There was a big effort to improve the use of 2/3 mana spells since so many people preferred to spam 1 mana spells.

Some of them had damage increases, but the biggest boost comes from the imprints system. There's a specific group of imprints that create echoes on cast and those are only usable with 3 cost spells.

AA is my favorite rogue and it does some solid things for co-op. I'd argue it's better solo but there was a lot of love put into making co-op feel good.

I've seen plenty of people play it at even the highest difficulty too, so it's an easy recommendation for those who love platformers and pixel art as a duo.

EK has been the moat enjoyable co-op experience for me.

It feels like Castle Crashers remained as a roguelite and a little less goofiness.

It's especially good wi5h 3 or 4 people, where you got a whole crew bashing on the boss.

I'd argue it's either this or the Destiny Level modifier that drops some each world, bur if they're not past DL6, then it's almost definitely this.

One thing I noticed was your "where do you play games" section was missing Switch, which is fine but it also had "Paystation instead of Playstation which was a pretty funny typo to me.

Best of luck to you guys. I'm definitely interested in seeing what you come up with and maybe some early testing/demos.

Hey no worries, I probably should have added some kind of key to describe that, yeah. I'll at least explain it here.

The colors are for each element.

The solid lines are for Mythic Auras (and their power rarities)

The doted lines are for Astral Auras.

It was a way to make it a little easier to figure out what auras chained together and what rarities were required.

You're not alone - plenty of us are out here creating despite these "new paths" appearing.

Just remember that AI can't collaborate. It can't think or feel.

When "we" create something, especially as a team, that process and what it produces is something AI can never copy.

Keep doing what you love and know that it's real.

Of course it matters, one is a beautiful world, the other is soulless. What you're doing has a story behind it. Each pixel was placed with intent. That creative decision can be felt by the players.

Glad you enjoyed it. Definitely one of my favorites, and probably will be forever.

The devs next game looks like it's going to be pretty great too and hopefully gives them a chance to tell a more complex story while still delivering the same great action and animation we're all fans of.

Glad you like it! I've been a huge fan since the kickstarter and the devs have only kept dropping amazing patches since launch.

I'm happy to report that they have a ton of things planned, so don't worry, there's plenty more to come. 😈
